Okay so I had a waiter name Carlos for the last two days but he was off today unfortunately for me. Ordered breakfast to go from a hostess lady with glasses. Get to my room and no hash browns! I went back downstairs to the restaurant told the waitress that took my order I had no hash browns. She said what was my room number she would bring them up to me. After waiting fifteen to twenty minutes went back downstairs to get my hash browns. The waitress told me she knocked on my room door but she didn't get an answer and that my hash browns are probably cold by now. I replied I'm sure they are. I also told the waitress she must have knocked on the wrong door because no one knocked on my room door. First of all I tipped a $10.00 tip so after the hash brown incident I will never have that waitress wait on me ever. I don't think my order that I got to go was complicated at all. Tonight we thought we would give it another try, well tonight they burned our food and offered a complimentary drink. We have been here over an hour now. We don’t want a complimentary drink, as we already paid for one. I would avoid this convenience of having a cafe in the hotel and go someplace else. Go anyplace else, there are lots of other restaurants only minutes away. Just in case they say they were busy, there were never more than 7 people in the cafe,...
Read moreMy wife and I are staying in the Double Tree hotel. We ate here 3 times the previous two days and tried to eat breakfast here this morning. This morning at first they told us to get the buffet because of only having one cook. After clearly stating we did not want the buffet we were told we could order from the menu but it would take a minimum of 30 minute wait for food. We left because of the server's attitude. I am glad this morning was not our first time at this restaurant.
Our food and service were excellent for the first three visits. We will return to this restaurant on our next stay at the DoubleTree in two weeks. The Cuban empanadas were excellent the Cuban sandwich was excellent and the other items we ordered were...
