Horrible! I purchased a mattress in the beginning of 2020. It was a plush mattress. Hardest thing I’ve ever slept on. Every time I would call about it, they would tell me it needs more time to be broken in. So we gave it more time. The mattress even dipped in the middle. Finally they ended up letting us replace the mattress. I purchased an even more expensive mattress that was also plush. I waited for a long time to call the store back, because I was trying to let it break in. Now, we’ve had it for 14 months, and it’s still hard as a rock. Please tell me it doesn’t take that long to break a mattress in!? I’ve called the store over and over again and they tell me they can’t do anything about it at all. I believe that they just don’t want to do anything. I just don’t understand, if they sell good mattresses, how have I gotten two terrible ones in a row? To be even remotely comfortable, I have to sleep on my side on the very edge of the bed (almost falling off the bed)where there is an extra layer of foam. How did I spend this much money on a mattress that is this horrible? The last time I called the store, the associate said they would have to get with the manager or district manager(?) and get back to me Monday. That was MONTHS ago. So yes, the customer service was good at the beginning, seemed very knowledgeable, but when I’m having problem after problem, they shove me off. So, I’ll be making monthly payments on a terrible terrible terrible mattress and sleeping on the couch until I can afford another mattress. Read moreA+ ... We bought a new king bedroom suite. Looking for a matress we browsed online, but we are both touch it, feel it customers. Purple mattresses are in the sherman show room. We visited. The manager there Joe tried really hard to sell us on that first trip. However, we wanted comparison so we said thank you but not buying today. A month later, we had managed to find all the others, nectar, tuft and needle, cocoon, sealy, etc basically any hybrid mattress that had good reviews. We did decide that the purple 2 was the best value for what we were willing to spend. So we went back to see Joe. The mattress was on sale for 125 off normal price, purple controls their prices like HP does with ink. So it will be the same across the board no matter where you shop. But Joe still honored his original catch of trying get us to buy a month earlier and still gave us 2 free purple pillows. Which aren't cheap either. Plus we had my Veterans Discount. We went anyways so she could try similar firmness/plushness mattresses by the same manufacturers. We were greeted by Brianna and she was absolutely great to work with. We ended up ordering one and paying for it. After we left my granddaughter said she actually preferred a different one. She tried to tell me that in the store but between her being soft-spoken and wearing a COVID mask, I didn’t understand her. So we went back, again working with Brianna. Brianna was very understanding and quickly got us all squared away. This is the second purchase we’ve made from Mattress Firm.
