Bluebird Day Inn & Suites — Hotel in South Lake Tahoe

I never leave a review if I'm|Satisfied with my stay but this one is different. The general manager of the property was mean and grumpy to me and my guest. We went to the convenience store. And I picked the wrong key and we could not get into my room. The office seems closed and seems no one is there. While we were waiting outside to call the number hoping somebody pick up the phone ( it was very late 4 am ) my guest was smoking outside and we couldn't even think that they had a designated area because we kept looking for a way for us to contact them. In this situation, I left my phone inside my room and we have been using my guest phone to call them. | After almost an hour of waiting we sat in my car because it was cold and I saw this general manager come out from the office and approach her. I was so pleased to ask for help from her to open a door for us. The moment she approached us she was mean demeanor to me and my guest finger-pointing at my Guest because he smoked in an undesignated area she told us we were loud and I couldn't bring the Guest into my room. First of all, we are not loud because if we are loud the other guests complain to us never experienced in any hotel I’ve been to that I can't bring guests into my room. She was very mean to my guest and she insisting letting my guest out of the hotel and kept arguing with us instead of asking politely to us if we needed help in the first place to think she saw us in the camera that we were outside instead she texted me but she doesn't realize I left my phone in the room.| Aside from mistreating us she also charges me $150. I will never come back here and recommend this hotel to my family and...

If you look this place up on the internet, look at the pics of the rooms and property they have the rooms are NOTHING like what's posted on their website. Rooms are awful and smell, bathrooms bottom of door casings were rotted out and gone and you can see the light green lead base paint, towel holder was lose and hanging from the wall, shower is really small if you bend over you will be cleaning the walls with your butt. The shower took forever for warm water to come on and there's NO hot water and no water pressure. T.v. cable was pinned to the wall and paint behind the cable was chipped and looked awful up the whole wall. Parking when you pull in the front you can only go out the back and parking is to left and right in front of the rooms and it's is really small, if they are a people parked behind you on the other side you gonna have a hard time getting out and if you have a truck forget parking in here because it's to small of a lot. Maintenance is is really poor, you can tell the maintenance guy don't do anything, doesn't look like no up-keep has been done. If you stay here you will not be...
