Teriyaki Madness — Restaurant in Strongsville

So, an impulse dinner with my wife and daughter at a place that looked to be worth trying....

There were several issues with the restaurant experience and our dinner:

1- The moment we walked in it was very quiet and awkward setup at the restaurant with only a few patrons. 2- The girl at the counter was young and seemingly new, she was very nice, but didn't seem very confident with the menu or options. 3- The 4 young guys cooking were very obnoxious and I didn't appreciate hearing them joking around and swearing for everyone to see and hear. I had my daughter and hearing F* and S* from the kitchen staff is not acceptable. 4- The guys were also eating fom what appeared to be dishes they were making for customers. Yes, customers can see you, you weren't hiding anything. 5- The customer in front of us had burnt food and the response wasn't very professional and he didn't get the rest of his food for quite a while. 6- Overall run by young kids that don't know or care what they are doing with no supervision in sight.

The food was subpar at best. 1- The steak - OK 2- Fried rice - mushy, way too salty, not edible - thrown away 3- Noodles - OK 4- Vegetables in all our meals - what we could find was OK maybe 3 Vegetables each. 5- Orange chicken - OK but not much of it

The food smelled good walking in and we were expecting something much better than what we paid $50.00 for. For that price or less we could have gone many other places. Next time we certainly will. This will be our last trip. Madness- yes /teriyaki -...

Just spent $26 and I will say...pathetic. There was 1 customer in the establishment JUST 1 and my 1 box took 25mins. I wasn't in a rush so wasn't too worried at the moment about the wait until I got home to my food. I got teriyaki bowl with double meat and noodles, a side of pot stickers and side of rice. Let's start with the chicken..blan chewy meat and "extra meat" was a whole 2 slivers of chicken NO JOKE! The noodles are literally spaghetti box noodles with no type of flavor unless you douse it with sauce. The rice was extremely mushy and the flavor was horrible. Then lastly the potstickers (8pc) were pure mush as well. They cooked those and had them on the shelf the remainder of 20mins I waited for the bowl so we're also cold. This place is not worth anyone's time or money. There whole "new phase" already died down and I can now see why customers have not returned. Very disappointed as I looked forward to this place when under construction as did my fiance. 0/5 stars wait time-1/5stars friendliness-0/5 stars taste 1/5 stars cleanliness. The service is awfully slow and that is the main reason this is getting 2 stars. I ordered online and it said the order would be ready withing 10 minutes of ordering, I went inside around the time that I was supposed to order and waited an extra 30 minutes just to get my food. The crab Rangoons, which should be called cheese Rangoons because there's no crab in there, were sitting on the counter since I walked in so by the time I got my bowl it was obviously cold. The bowl itself was decent, I got the katsu chicken bowl with noodles and vegetables. The chicken was actually pretty good but the noodles didn't taste great and vegetables were just vegetables nothing unexpected. Their sauce is decent although they didn't even give me the right sauce for the bowl I ordered. I'm sure the employees have it rough so I don't want to egg on them but it seems like they work in slow motion like they don't really care. At least 3 more people complained about wait times while I was in there, even though it really wasn't that busy. Maybe the online system should try and reflect wait times more accurately to avoid similar situations but it seems like they struggle with dine in orders as well. Not a great...
