Unsanitary Experience Do Not Eat Here! While waiting for a tomato basil sandwich I was watching the food be prepared. The guy heating up my sandwich had NO Gloves on! To check the temperature of my sandwich he stuck his bare finger inside in between the mozzarella and tomato leaving it in there for a few seconds, and was ready to server it to me. I had to contest multiple times and explain to him this is a major health code violation in the U.S. and I will not eat this food. I cannot believe this is the standard of food service at Hamptons coffee company. They acted like nothing was wrong, Who knows what the health department will find at this place. Eat at your own risk. 🤔Do you think he washes his hands after the Restroom every time at work?
This is in response to Hamptons Coffee’s response: I did not enjoy my meal after. The same worker put a different sandwich on the grill with NO GLOVES AGAIN and I walked out sat down and drank my coffee. While drinking my coffee a worker brought out the sandwich that was prepared again with no gloves and I said I didn’t want it and was not eating it. They left it on the table with a refund that I also did not ask for. It is more important to me to share an honest review of how unsanitary Hamptons coffee company in Montauk is then receive a few dollars back. I rather no-one get sick eating here. Thank you for your response though it allowed me to voice how 2 times in the same visit Sanitary conditions...
Read moreWe arrived a few minutes to closing and understood there was a chance we would be told that they were closed. However, the woman at the counter with the Jamaican accent was unbelievably rude. From her angry facial expressions, to locking the door aggressively after we entered, to dropping things behind the counter loudly... we felt uncomfortable and left without buying anything. As we were leaving she came close behind us and locked the door loudly as we left to express her displeasure that we dared to try and get a cup of coffee.
Later on, we found another Hampton coffee. My friends got coffee and chai, which all tasted like lukewarm milk. I also got a cold and flavorless "hot" chocolate. I would suggest the people making the beverages sample the product to see what they're actually handing people (it's gross). Better to save your money on these overpriced beverages and...
Read moreHampton Coffee Company is hands-down one of the best coffee spots I’ve ever visited. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and full of that cozy, small-town charm. The staff is super friendly and clearly takes pride in what they do — they’re always smiling and happy to chat while making your drink just right. I tried their house blend and a seasonal cold brew, and both were absolutely delicious. Smooth, flavorful, and clearly made from fresh, high-quality beans. Their pastries and breakfast sandwiches are top-tier too — perfect for a quick bite or a relaxed morning. Whether you’re a local or just passing through the Hamptons, this is a must-stop destination. Plenty of seating, good vibes, and a great community feel. Hampton Coffee Co. truly delivers the full experience. Highly recommend for coffee lovers and anyone who appreciates...
