Montauk Oceanside Suites — Hotel in Town of East Hampton

Find some place else. The only decent thing about this place is the location. Parking lot is small. It clearly says NO PETS, but we had a yappy dog 2 doors down for the whole time were there. When we tried to shower the first day we found that we had no hot water. They got maintenance on it right away but we still only had less then 5 minutes of hot water after it was fixed. Then we were left with a very dirty tub and brown water. We had young and drunk neighbors who had no idea how to behave at a hotel. I barely slept the first night as they kept banging on their doors and yelling. I had to tell them at least 3 times to be quiet. And that was after 1am. I had already mentioned their behavior earlier in the day to the office. But was told they can be loud until 10pm. One of the biggest complaints was the ac. Was told it was a split ac. It is not. It is a wall unit in the bedroom and just a ceiling fan in the livingroom. Hard to sleep when the sweat is pouring off of you. We will not be back and won't recommend this...

Overall pricey for what you get but it’s market rate. You’re here for the location.

Pros: location. Right next to the beach, can order for supplies (towels, soap, etc) online and it gets delivered to your room. Small electric stove and full size fridge. Grills outside.

The stove was half broken, not enough silverware for a family of 4. They store the bath towels under the sink next to the drain. Don’t expect privacy, the walls are paper thins and the family upstairs had their children running around so much you couldn’t hear each other talk, let alone the tv.
