The Point Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Town of East Hampton

Ok Christi with and I! What a terrible person and server. First time in Montauk everything was great BUT then we come here. We walk in sit and just wait for about 15 mins then we get up thinking if we sit at the bar there will be better service and we were so wrong. After 10 mins at the bar I waved at one of the bartenders and she turns and says to another employee “wow I’m being waved at” like duh idiot you guys are ignoring us and you saw us walk in over 25 mins ago. So Christi the one with the terrible extensions comes over with an attitude and I’m being super overly nice so she knows I’m actually over her… and I said “sorry I waved we wanted to get your attention but anyway I’ll have the…” and then she goes over to put in our order and tells the other bartender something and now he is looking over her at me and trying not to make it obvious. Super uncomfortable! Now here is the worst part in walks in a white man and a older woman and he immediately puts a $100 bill on the bar and sits down orders two drinks and Christi who never ever came back to us the whole time, literally is leaning over the bar eagerly taking their order and being nice to them. It was so obvious we were either outsiders or unwelcome a truly disappointing experience like what did I do to deserve any of it besides wave and not even in a mean way… super psycho bartender like weird AF...

Amazing food and service. We got: Appetizer- Irish nachos, 10/10 Drinks- pink Whitney lemonade 9/10 (a little tart for me but the fiancé loved it), chocolatini 9/10 (could taste the alcohol but it was basically alcoholic chocolate milk), east end punch 10/10 no notes, and southern lemonade 8/10 (only because I’m not a fan of deep eddys vodka, otherwise it was amazing) Entrees- marinated skirt steak cooked medium rare 6/10 (needed to be marinated longer but otherwise okay) and fajita burger cooked medium well 7/10 (last bite of each half was amazing, but the guac and pico sank to the bottom of each half). The only think was that if you order beef/steak, ORDER ONE UNDER WHAT YOU WANT (if you want medium rare, get rare. For medium well, get medium). It was slightly over cooked and a little dry, but still tasty Desserts- chocolate volcano 11/10 (to die for, warm brownie/lava cake with molten chocolate inside, vanilla ice cream, and chocolate chip cookies) and tiramisu 10/10 (best I’ve had outside Italy).

Honestly a wonderful experience. Our server was amazing and kind, ran back to the kitchen to ensure our desserts didn’t have nuts when we asked. Would absolutely return and...

Good Food, Good Service... But BEWARE the prices on the GOOGLE menu are different from the prices on the physical menu and on their actual website. While my wife and I were outside sitting on a public bench awaiting to be seated we looked through the online menu Android via google so as to save time by knowing what we want in advance. We did not need to look through the physical menu. When we received the bill I reviewed it and found the differences in the prices; roughly 20%. I went looking for a manager and the young lady told me there was no manager on duty. I explained the situation to her and she told me they do not post the Google menu and that they gave us a physical menu. I asked her to call the manager. after a little bit more of my polite insistence she gave me a small percentage of the bill back. I attached the part of the appetizer menu so you can compare. I asked her if i was the only one to approach her with this issue and she indicated it wasnt the 1st time. I did not detect that from her initial response to me as she was exasperated.
