Shore Meadows Lodge, LLC — Hotel in Town of Lake George

We have been to Lake George so many times. This time due to weekend rush we couldn’t get the other hotels that we used to stay so we booked this one. We had a group of 5 families staying at different hotels two of us were stayed at Shore Medows. I had invited other 3 families for Bar BQ during evening since they were staying in hotel so thought this place would be good, when their families arrived and joined the Bar BQ that we just started, their kids started playing with our kids on the beach and by seeing that the owner of the hotel Mike came and told us that this hotel is just for the tenants (me) not for the guests (my friends). He immediately wanted my friends to leave the place, he allowed us to do the Bar BQ till 9:00 PM that’s the time to close. My friends were in the process of living the place and took the little time to pack up the things, the owner Miky came running to us and told to leave the place immediately otherwise he will call the Sherriff. “You are p-a-t-h-e-t-i-c and d-i-s-g-u-s-t-i-n-g people and leave my place immediately” these are the words came out of his mouth. My wife kept the wet clothes in the hall way for drying; he wanted those clothes to be taken off immediately. The guy is r-a-c-i-s-t and doesn’t like Indian people. The owner and his kids manage this place and live in the middle house of the property and were kept watch day and night. You will find the owner all the time on the property making sure you or kids are not spoiling anything on his property. None of my friends wanted to come back to us to meet at all, we had a plan to get together during night, cut melon or have some time together, the whole group plan ruined by this guy. Okay lets say you're taking the time to look at these reviews because you want the best experience for your wife and kids to have a nice relaxing stay in Lake George. There's so many motels and lodges on the strip but NOTHING is comparable to Shore meadows. From the time we checked in-check out we were greeted with the nicest, most welcoming family ( Father, wife, two sons) they were so courteous and personable it was like staying at a family's resort, always checking in on us, bandaging our son up when he fell and scraped his knee then giving him some bday cake from their event. I almost didn't write a review. Because I don't want this place booked up all the time its truly a hidden gem & if you see a cabin open (cabin 12) is were we stayed right next to the pool BOOK IT. You will be soo happy with your choice. We had our boat at the dock and they was always someone their to lend a hand or just say what's up!

I grilled out on one of the most nicest BBQ setups I've seen in ages the thing even has a freaking stone pizza oven attached!

views for days! you have a little private beach and hammocks all around it - my daughter said it was perfect for IG photos? don't know much about that but It was a big deal to her.

Lake George is very special to our family and this place solidified the experience. I will never forget the experience and this family and how other big resorts should take advice from them, they truly know what hospitality is.

Words will never be able to do this property justice but I'll try. The owners take great pride in their property and it shows! We stayed in the house for a family reunion that was taking place in the area. Other family members opted to stay at other nearby locations and everyone ended up with regret they didn't stay at Shore Meadows. Not a nicer place on the Lake with excellent proximity to the village and owners/care takers there to help with anything you need! Bonfires started for you every night, recommendations for anything you'd want to do and topnotch service. The amazing lawn is the perfect spot to watch the weekly Fireworks, play a game of wiffle ball, frisbee or for the kids to just run and run for hours. The beach is very well maintained and tons of excellent chairs to nap or watch the kids play from. The caretakers are willing to step in to help with anything from playing catch with the kids, helping carry your things from the car to sitting on the porch with the "older" folks to talk endlessly about the beauty that surrounds you. They truly put our vacation over the top and made sure our vacation was the best it could be and they nailed it! We would never stay...
