Standing in the mystery spot and hearing the "echo" was mystifying. We had a group of five with us, only one couldn't hear his echo. He also was suffering from ear pressure problems. The group tested the circle individually then decided to see how close or far away from the person in the middle the echo could be heard while middle person talked.
