Parasailing Adventures Lake George — Attraction in Town of Lake George

Do not go here. Owner is constantly screaming and derogatory to his employees. Approached and they advised, hey we have room to perform the service right now! We paid for the sailings and were asked if we wanted pictures taken. Why not! We paid the applicable charge. (No mention of a go pro remember this because this becomes important)

After taking our money, another couple who had been waiting came up furious that they had still not left. They apologized to us and told us to wait roughly a half hour for the next one.

Well after that had passed, they finally sat us in our boat and away we went.

The staff aboard the boat is only reason they get 2 stars. Kate and Zach were outstanding along with the two members who were swapped back and forth.

Aboard was myself and my girlfriend of light complex with a very nice family speaking what I believed to be Hindi. Cool. Each person was given the go pro with their sailing! This must be part of the service!

On our way returning to land, SD cards are handed to the Hindi family. We ask, do we get ours on land? The staff member looks back in confusion because it was communicated to them that I was apart of the Hindi family.

This drove me up a wall... my complexion couldn’t have been that distracting that the whole time they were fumbling my service at office they confused a FLORES (flowers in Spanish) with a Hindi family.......actually sick but let’s assume the best and move forward.

we get to land and the family is super generous. They offer to swap contact information so they can just forward everything they had to us.

This would have been great, but the staff member from the office takes the SD cards.

Creates what she claimed to be duplicates and handed them to us advising you got everything you paid for.

Open the SD card, no go pro footage, what gives? I’ll just call the place.

I get them on the phone and explain what happened. Almost yelling the individual on the phone yells I AM THE ONE WHO HELPED YOU, YOU GOT EVERYTHING YOU PAID FOR OK!.

That’s when I realized, this company never advised there was an additional charge for this and they were so adamant about separating them so we couldn’t “cheat,” them on money.

Instead of making a client they already had left a bad taste in their mouth happy, they defaulted to this greedy standpoint that everyone is trying to stiff them.

To the nasty old man who treats his staff horribly, if I don’t need the extra dollar your service isn’t that expensive for you to act the way you do. I, like plenty others you have probably offended this way, can afford it.

If you treated your staff better, maybe they wouldn’t mess up and forget their jobs in the little shack you call an office.

I can’t say enough about Parasail Nation! As we were walking through the town we had run into the owner and staff, after some chatting she had let us know that kids as young as five can go parasailing. My wife and I have a 5 1/2 year old, but we were naturally hesitant as he is so young, but we were assured by Katie that it’s safe and the younger kids love it! She even went over all her safety ratings and safety precautions with us. She was so sweet and had a no pressure vibe, but ended with come on by if your family wants to go! Seeing as though our son beat cancer (he’s been in remission for over a year), we thought what a great way to celebrate his lengthy cancer journey! So after a couple hours we headed back to Parasail Nation. We were unsure how our son would do (or even if he would try it), but the staff was incredible with him, lots of high fives and encouragement. I went up with him and he had the best time! Not once did I feel unsafe or feel that my son was unsafe. It was actually relaxing, we were surrounded by the mountains and I just sat back and listened to my son laugh and chat away about how “cool this is!” I can’t recommend his...

Finally got to check this experience off my bucket list! I am so glad I waited and decided to do this activity with this company at Lake George. It was stunning! We had 3 guys on the boat with us who were extremely calm, chill attitudes and reassuring. I think their names were Drew, Dean and Robert. Probably completely wrong as I am terrible with names... They were fun and professional and made me feel comfortable. I never questioned or felt scared with them. We actually had the time to ourselves as there was no one else going out at that time so it was really awesome to have that 1:1 time. The experience itself was liberating and just unreal. I recommend parasailing to anyone as the experience can not fully be explained, its just something one has to do. I also wholeheartedly recommend doing it with these guys because it really completes the experience. Thank you so much for giving me this memory! We also paid $35 dollars for pictures to be taken of the entire experience. Totally worth it as you get a sim card with up to 80 photos. Great deal and the perfect way to snap shot...
