Disappointed After Giving This Location Another Chance... I decided to return to this IHOP after not visiting for about six years. I noticed signs out front stating the restaurant was under new management, so I figured it might be worth giving it another try. Unfortunately, my experience today was very disappointing. I came in for breakfast with an acquaintance. Even though the restaurant wasn’t busy—only about 4 or 5 other booths were filled—it took roughly 10 minutes before a server and the trainee he was working with came over to our table. We even considered leaving, but stayed in hopes things would get better. When they finally came over, I asked about the brewed tea and was told it hadn’t been made yet and would take an hour to make and chill because they were "so busy." I asked for unsweetened tea with extra ice. About 10–15 minutes later, the server brought me sweetened tea instead. When I reminded him of my order, he took it back and eventually returned with the correct drink. I also asked for soft bacon when placing my order. The server even explained to the trainee how to make sure the kitchen prepared it that way. But when the food arrived, my bacon was crispy. I reminded him again, and he said he’d get it replaced. Eventually, the trainee brought out the correct bacon. Around that time, I also asked to switch my tea for water because it tasted off. The most frustrating part of the visit was that no one checked in on us throughout the entire meal. My drink sat empty for a long time, and we were completely ignored after our food was dropped off. All in all, nothing about this visit felt like a reflection of new management. It was just as disappointing—if not more—than my visit six years ago. I won’t be back.

We arrived at IHOP on a Friday night around 6:45 and immediately thought the restaurant was preparing to close. We walked in and saw that only one table was occupied. The hostess/server assured us that the place was open for business, and that Friday nights are very quiet, unlike the mornings and the weekends...and the weekend mornings, where business is almost overwhelming. Due to a lack of patrons, the service was prompt and quick. I ordered the Colorado omelette without the peppers and onions, which basically equated to a meat-lovers omelette, with sausage, bacon, ham, and cheese. The omelette was delicious; the eggs were light and fluffy and topped with sausage and cheese. Inside revealed even more meat, all of which was balanced throughout, unlike other restaurants that pile one type of meat next to another. The dish also came with a side of hash browns, which was cut in a large square and served on a separate plate. I found this very convenient, as the hash browns didn't crowd the omelette, but left enough space on the main plate if you choose to combine the eggs and potatoes. The mushroom and spinach omelette was also enticing, with mushrooms, spinach, onions, diced tomatoes, and cheese atop the omelette, the consistency of which mirrored the other dish. The menu consisted of burgers and main entrees, and, of course, pancakes, but we were in the mood for eggs. If you want a very quiet Friday night meal after a busy work week, IHOP is the perfect place to dine.

The IHOP is new and as a result and expected we had to wait approximately 25 minutes for a table, no impact on my rating as this was to be expected. Once seated our server was quick to take our drink order and returned shortly with our coffee and orange juice. The server took our food order and I asked her at that time for sugar as our table was out of it; she never returned with the sugar, so I sat and had to ask the young woman that brought our food out from the kitchen for the sugar and she immediately brought sugar out to us. The food was good, no complaints there and the considering that the place was packed and had a line wrapped around outside, they got the food out quickly. What troubles me the most was that on my way in I saw boxes upon boxes stacked outside the back of the IHOP, some of which were marked keep refrigerated just sitting outside; I figured they were bringing them in so thought nothing of it at that point, but on my way out over an hour later the same boxes were still stacked up outside untouched. Having items that require refrigeration stacked outside for over an hour that was my visit and who knows how long they were sitting before I arrived so it refrigerated food items may have been sitting since they opened and that would mean hours!!! Parking is difficult as well, the parking lot is too small.

So tonight on 4/15/19 for my wifes birthday me and the rest of my family decided to attend this particular IHOP. Sadly there were quite a lot of issues that came into play. The first thing that we noticed was the lack of experience that some of the waiters had. There was no sense of direction or guidance for someone who had only been there for 2 days and was handling a 8 top count. He was clearly nervous and needed more training. The second thing that i took notice of was another person was taking the orders down. We all had to repeatedly give our food ordera over and over again. She was of no help when we were asking questions and needed to go to the back of the house to get answers. A waiter or waitress should be well informed of what the menu is and what is available to each and every guest. The 3rd thing that I noticed was how long it took just to simply get coffee and drinks out to us. We approximate only waited 15 minutes for a cup of coffee there is no reason to wait that long on a slow night just for that. There were other tables dad got their drinks after we ordered and we were still waiting while we saw other tables being taken care of. Once again this falls back to lack of experience and organization on how a franchise like this should be run. The next thing that we all noticed was the big thing on how badly the food was handled and brought out to us nobody remembered who got what and there were some major issues with the quality of the food. My wife and other members of the family said the sausage links where burnt or too spicy. As a chef I can tell exactly what the problem was and that goes to the flat top or the cooking area where it was not cleaned properly in there were still seasoning and salt on the flat top that gave more spice to the product then it's originally required. Our family got their orders mixed up and there were plenty of tatoes that were dry and items missing that we requested. In closing my professional opinion on now everything has been handle is poor. What I believe needs to happen is that the franchise owner needs to shut down the rest are on for a week needs to re evaluate the team and get the district manager and other team members in this particular ihop franchise and retrain the team and fix the problems that have been recurring. I can only for see more negative reviews if these problems continued to persist. I hope that this review is taken seriously considering that I have taken the time to Give my opinion in the hopes that problems like this in the future can...

This place is amazing, not only was it horrible to visit a year ago they are still just as horrible. Today my wife and I stopped in after i had a small procedure at the VA. We entered and there was only one waiter running the show and seating. He sat us and took our order, first off we tried to order a regular breakfast menu item and were informed that they had no hash-browns, no cream for the coffee and out of fries. So we order the item anyway and ask that they substitute all the meat for turkey sausage and no whipped cream on the pancakes. The waiter brings back a cup of coffee with a side of skim milk cause they have no cream and a warm diet Pepsi. Didnt even drink them. At about 15-20 minutes later another person bring out our food and 2 second into them putting it down i said nope we said no whipped cream on the pancakes its wrong. The person took the food back and another person brought back the other food item that they thought were right and said you guys can start on your food while we remake the pancakes, again i said nope i ordered Turkey sausage and what was on the plate was regular bacon. So they took the food back and i said look we are leaving let me pay for the drinks, she said no dont worry about it and we kindly left. I didn’t feel like asking for a manager cause im sure they were aware of all the missing items and i didn’t want to hear how sorry they were and that this never happens and they dont know what went wrong, knowing that this is the same exact thing that happened last year to us and I’m sure on a regular basis to countless others. So it is with pain in my chubby heart that i say i will never visit this particular establishment again. I really love pancakes and especially ihops, however i refuse to settle for a business who cant care enough to keep up with ordering items that they sell on a daily basis like coffee creamer and hash browns. “ not like your establishment is a breakfast based company...

Food was absolutely horrible. The water was good. Waitress seems slow.(mentally).Took our order ice water with lemon (no lemon). Asked for the lemon she went and chatted with the other waitresses. Had to ask another waitress(Asian girl) she is awesome. No cream for the coffee.(Asian girl went and got it). Never even came and asked. We had to get up and ask for it. Waited about 30-35 minutes with a restaurant of a few patrons. We were there before two tables ( we think she either forgot to put the ticket in or left our food sitting) didn’t get food. Now to the food. Nothing came together she forgot everything. Cold. the fajita omelet(she called it another dish) I said not what I order she walked back to the kitchen came back out after she walked with the dish all over and said oh I said the wrong name it was sitting so long the cheese was clear. Never came with the sides they were suppose to come with. She forgot. My food gets returned I don’t want it 20 minutes later she came with the hasbrowns. After I told her I do not want the food it was sitting. Hot chocolate. So much whipped cream with a quarter of hot chocolate was ice cold under neath .no apology nothing, she took it and skipped off. Not once did she try and rectify it( she doesn’t have it all there) the biscuits and gravy no lie a teaspoon of gravy on each biscuit we laughed asked for extra gravy. It was heated up never stirred and water was added to it.. unedible. Orange juice pure water. Ketchup bottles not filled had to go and get one on another table. Manager or owner came over and he seems like he is trying to turn the place around. The Asian girl maybe she is Spanish only one on our side of the room who was decent as to why we tipped her and not our server. No name tags. The reviews prior to going here really live up to the reputation of that place. They live up...
