Optician was rushed (for no apparent reason), poorly dressed and disheveled. Very little discussion paid to whether or not I should get bifocals. Now that I have the glasses, I think I should have gotten bifocals. Spent $550 on one pair. No dilation (COVID Related?) yet no discount. Answered "Ya" when I asked if I could come back for a free dilation when available. Dilation is one of very few things I couldn't get online; or could I?
Retail staff was OK but not well versed on Transitions options. White trays that I used in the past were now being used to collect and disinfect any frame tried on. If I had not been the 1st or second person selecting frames, the sample options would have been unreasonable diminished. Understandably a difficult situation. But, giving me a tray to hold my possible selections should be a no-brainer

Now, on to the exam…I had a new doctor this visit and, while she was very personable, there were a couple of things I would change for future appointments. I didn’t feel like the equipment was properly adjusted to my face for the exam (ie. crooked or not fixed firmly against my face well), I also didn’t think it appropriate when trying on my contact lenses that she and two other colleagues were talking about how they didn’t like the organization of something in that particular room even though another doctor wanted it like that. It was information I didn’t need to know and was an intrusion during my appointment. Additionally, the doctor forgot to give me my week of contact lenses because they were all so busy having that discussion about the room. It’s the first time I’ve ever not...

This was my first experience with this Dr and he seemed rushed and just completely not interested in any sort of engagement with me as a patient. My next visit will be scheduled with any other Dr available. Love this location and staff. I had to have a contact lens exam as well which consisted of him asking if I currently wear contacts and then slapping a set in front of me. That was the entire contact exam which I still had to pay out of pocket for. If you are going to charge me for something then at least take the time to do the full exam or don't charge for something that was...
