Hanoi Fiesta Grand hotel was our home base during our 12-day travel in the north of Vietnam, our home away from home. The staff at the hotel made us feel that way, as being at home. Whether coming back from Halong bay, or Ninh Binh or Sapa, we were looking forward to getting back to Hanoi Fiesta Grand. The rooms are clean and cosy, the bedding is very comfortable, the linen is beautiful and the bathrooms are modern. But it’s the people who we give 11 out of 10 score.
Day or night, Ben and Thai were at the door welcoming guests and taking the luggage to the rooms. Always polite, always with a friendly smile. Thank you!
Sophie, Hannah and Anna at the reception are the most welcoming and professional, efficient and helpful. Sophie patiently organised our trip to Sapa, just as we wanted (off the beaten track itinerary). Hannah kindly shared her personal favourite coffee spots in Hanoi (Cong caphe 👍). Anna thoughtfully offered us utensils to deal with the fruit that we wanted to eat in the room. Thank you for your kindness and for always being there for us, ladies!
Thanks a million to Selina, who went above and beyond her customer service job description, looking after us. When she found out that we love passion fruit, she offered to buy us some and dropped the fruit off at the hotel later in the day. Selina wanted us to try the local “o mai” candied fruits, thoughtfully chose the fruit and brought it to the hotel outside her working hours. We are just overwhelmed by such kindness!
Thank you very much to Tuyen and Hannah from the restaurant - always friendly, always with a smile. Thank you also to the other chefs, waiters and waitresses whose names are not mentioned here, and definitely to the housekeeping staff and everyone who made our stay at Hanoi Fiesta Grand hotel just wonderful, warm and...
Read moreWe stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and booked 2 standard rooms. Due to the long stay, we got an upgrade at check-in time to a Deluxe and Superior room which were spacious and made our stay more comfortable. Selection of Hanoi Fiesta grand was a really good choice due to its location, the service provided and the list goes on and on. There is no complaint at all. In terms of location, its in walking distance to many places and there are sufficient restaurants/souvenir shops/clothes shops around the area. The area is not too crowded and there were no disturbances/noise heard to the room. The breakfast spread was good and service was efficient. The front desk staff (Sophie and everyone else) always acknowledged us and were helpful in any queries and was available 24h. Even before arrival i was in contact with Sophie and she helped by sharing the details of day tours, airport pickup packages etc. Celina from customer service was in contact during the stay and helped to get breakfast packs arranged for a tour which we left around 5am. She was friendly and was responsive throughout.
Daily housekeeping made sure the rooms were cleaned and complimentary bottle water etc was refilled. Bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Good value for money for sure.
We got a tour to Ninh Binh arranged through the hotel and everything went smoothly (even if the tour was rushed since it was a day tour and had few locations to be covered). The participants were all tourists and blended well. On the departure day we had to leave early and usually breakfast is served at 7, but they made sure sufficient food was served by 6.45am.
In Summary, the staff is a true asset to the hotel as they make sure the guests feel comfortable always and it is a well maintained hotel. Will...
Read moreThis was our first stop during the vietnam journey and although shortened due to storm Yagi (24hr delay) and the damage it had wrought it was a lovely stay.||its more of a boutique hotel, room was a little quirky with a small balcony but was spotless and served us just right, i like the colours in this hotel, they seem old fashioned but definately work.||Staff were great thoughout, very friendly, its location is fantastic, cant be many better, loads of things going on around it, the old town is a hive of activity, totally loved it.||Their piece de resistance is most certainly the rooftop bar, amazing, great staff, drinks and views, we were there every night, even during the tropical storm, amazing lightning shows!!.||i would have given 5 stars but the lift siutation is a little restrictive, only one lift and at times its very busy, prob not the hotels fault as space must be at a premium in such a cramped City, i was taken by surprise as theres 10 floors in what looked to be a small hotel.||The food was nice but quite limited, it may have been due to the storm but i didnt enjoy it as much as the other locations we stayed in.||Hanoi did seem cheaper than the other parts of Vietnam so you most certainly got value for money, eating out and about seemed very cheap, im not complaining especially since we like cocktails and G@Ts.||If i pass through Hanoi again i would definately stay here again, putting the minor issues to oneside this is a lovely hotel in the very heart...
