Was booked into this hotel as part of a tour package.
My kind of hotel! Not huge, I'm guessing less than 30 rooms, only three rooms per floor, I saw on the 9th it was two rooms. Well proportioned. Bed quite massive! Think it might two superior singles squished together. Work table a little crowded, easy enough to fix.
Delightful breakfast on the tenth floor. Not a huge spread but checks all the boxes. Honestly you had me at bacon! What more can you ask for for breakfast, local and international dishes, like sandwiches, eggs done in different ways, sausages. Plenty of fruit and vegetables for salad. Great view of the surrounding from there too, has a balcony as well with more seats.
In terms of service, if I could give six stars, I would! Friendly and helpful staff. One day, they went out of their way. I checked out early before breakfast starts for a tour, they provided a takeaway breakfast for me! And the guy at the counter added his own banana!
About the only pity is no swimming pool. But I guess that's good if your trip is a bit rushed. Location wise, feels very central in the old quarter. Throw a stone in any direction and hit a cafe, or a little restaurant. About a street away from a lake, so, no pool, go hang out at the cafes...

The rooms are standard, however, the staff are more than exceptional! Ricky (the manager) went above and beyond to assist my sister and i to book multiple tours, and made it a priority to find us the best price through reputable company’s! Vanessa (receptionist) is incredible! She made sure our dietary requirements were met every time we dined in the restaurant. She also took time out of her day to show us around Hanoi where we dipped into some local cuisine. She is more than we could have ever ask for and we are extremely grateful for her kindness and great hosting skills! The final staff member that really made a shining impact on us was Anh (restaurant staff). We would be greeted every morning for breakfast with a bright smile and she assisted us as much as she could and she was always on top of dietary requirements.
I highly recommend staying here, you won’t be disappointed!
A big thankyou HM, you made our stay so...
Read moreA great hotel to stay and eat. It's right in the middle of the old Quarters and is at close proximity to most of the major extra attractions. We booked the hotel through a tour operator. We spent one day and night at HM Boutique Hotel. The hotel is designed in Victorian Architecture style. Clean, spacious, and well-lit rooms, panelled with wooden floors and white walls. Our room even had a nice balcony with a view of the Old Quarters' streets. Our bathroom had a nice big bath tub with all the necessities and accessories. The breakfast was complimentary and spanned continental and Asian cuisine. Soup, fresh vegetables and fruits, bread, croissant, baguette tea, coffee, and juice. The staff were extremely polite, friendly, and considerate. They offered to upgrade our room at no extra cost, considering a special request😊 A great experience in all aspects. Would definitely recommend the hotel for all it's...
