UPPER CLOUD RESTAURANT LAKE VIEW — Restaurant in Hà Nội

An actually tender, tasty and very juicy steak. Although I ordered medium rare and it was towards medium more. It was the first done well steak out of the dozen + steaks I tried over the years in all sorts of restaurants. Idk about food, but what I ordered was very good, the banana roll dessert with ice cream is a must have. On its own it is not that special but that ice cream combo hits different. The view is great and points straight towards the sword lake. Considering the state of Hanoi it's one of the very few places with great view. Restaurant itself is modern, clean and the staff is very attentive and ready to serve. Only thing that I tried and it didn't deliver was garlic bread. A bit too oily and not enough garlic. On the other hand the fries were perfectly crispy and seasoned just enough with salt. Orange juice was freshly made and was definitely solid, can't go wrong with that. The music is calm sometimes instrumental sometimes with vocals, it has that fancier music vibe.

Overall I'd give this restaurant 8.6/10. Would have been a 9 with good garlic bread. TLDR: Order the steak it's cheap as hell for its quality as a foreigner and very good,...

The hotel is such a stunning little hidden gem in the Old French Quarter. We were invited for a lovely complimentary Afternoon High Yeah. We met the fabulous staff on the rooftop restaurant and bar and were recommended to come back later for drinks and then dinner. Sky Bar is fantastic, incredible view, wonderful and attentive staff made sure we had everything we needed. Cocktails were delicious. Then the roof top restaurant we were served by both Van and Hung, the loveliest, most attentive staff. Friendly, warm, kind explained everything to us with the dining options. Very recommend this hotel. Me and my husband had very pleasant stay while we visited Hanoi. The staffs are very professional and helpful, fluently in English too. If you stay here I am also recommend you take the breakfast, they have pretty comprehensive meals , either you prefer simple scrambled eggs with bread, or local Pho as breakfast. And if you are lucky enough like me, be able to know the most sweetest waitress Susan, she will introduce you some more local special coffee! Such as coconut coffee, egg white coffee etc … what else I can say here? Just come , you will know what I mean .
