We slept there for 3 nights. The accommodation is modern and clean. However, from the pictures we thought there were balconies for each room. But there were not. Instead we had the room directly above the kitchen. There were windows that you could open but there was 30cm of air between the window and the opposite wall. From the window you had a straight view of the cooker in the kitchen. Therefore we could never open the windows because otherwise it would have smelt of food. The bathroom was clean, but there was hot water from the boiler for 10 minutes at most, after which you had to wait 1 hour until there was hot water again. Breakfast is supposed to be served from 7:30-9:00am, but is only prepared on request. That means on the first day we had nothing, on the second day butter toast and fried eggs were prepared for us, after several messages. I felt it was too much effort for the fact that we ended up with 3 pieces of toast and fried eggs. My recommendation: just eat outside. Much easier, quicker and tastier. Unfortunately disappointing that you don't get what is described online. Positive: the check in was very easy, the code for the door and room were sent to us in advance. It was relatively easy to find by taxi and the location was great. You didn't even have to walk 5 minutes to the train line and a little further you were already in the old quarter. The staff was very friendly. And the communication was really easy,...
Read moreI had an amazing stay here and everything exceeded my expectations. The space is quiet, clean, and cozy, perfect for a relaxing trip. Deci and Kevin were incredibly helpful and attentive, always ready to assist with anything we needed.
The shared kitchen and free drinking water were super convenient. And the best part? The local market is right in front of the homestay. We picked up fresh fruits and bread every day❤️✨ all so tasty.
One morning, we pre ordered the sticky rice and Vietnamese rolls for breakfast. They were absolutely delicious and highly recommended.
Hot water worked perfectly and there’s a free self-service laundry area, which was such a plus. You can also rent an iron for only 50,000 VND per hour. Everything felt like great value for money.
A big thank you to Lanha for making my first trip to Vietnam so memorable. The area felt incredibly safe, even at night, and the locals were so kind. It’s also just a 10 minute ride to the Old Quarter, which made exploring Hanoi super convenient.
Highly recommended. I’m so glad I...
Read moreThe accommodation was fine, we spent 2 nights here. Breakfast was included - we got rice rolls with meat and sticky rice the next day. There are towels and other necessary things in the room. The hosts were very nice, we were able to wash and dry our clothes with them. There is a market in the street from early morning, so ideally have earplugs if you want to sleep in. On the day of departure, we could leave our backpacks with them and they allowed us to take a shower before our next trip to North Vietnam. One minor disappointment - we had booked a "queen room with balcony" through Booking, but unfortunately we didn't get one. So make arrangements in advance if...
