Bath tub (S.E. Asian size) that actually fills with water - good luck getting to basin stopper out after pleasant staff not a bad location Mirror strategically placed, condoms in the side table. You get the picture. towels are OK hangers X10 firm mattress big closet basic toiletries mini frumidge hooks on door to hang caps etc quiet enough hand basin sink actually gas very hot water also. VND500K per night. Doesn't seem to be possible to get cheaper in old quarter regardless of defects

air conditioner filters were just dirty, not totally filthy as in many other equivalent budget hotels. I removed the filters, handed them to staff but due to no ladder, female staff had me do it, my being taller, or it not being in her job description. toilet leaks onto floor of WS when flush polyester quilt flickering ceiling light like everywhere here, it is impossible to open the free shampoo packets without scissors King bed is just two doubles joined electrical outlet near bed shows evidence of electrical problem (black powder and cover coming off)

DO NOT TRUST BOOKING HERE! We had booked this hostel as we seen a review which said they allowed check in at 4am. After booking we messaged to make sure this was okay and we were told it was fine, after a long sleeper bus we arrived to be told they didn’t have our room and they would need to put us somewhere else in another hotel 100m along the road. Firstly we should have been made aware as soon as they knew the rooms were full as we could’ve found something else on our way back before midnight hit as after midnight most places class it as the next day and don’t let you check in. Secondly the replacement hotel was so poorly rated compared to this place and it was absolutely disgusting I think the photos speak for itself. Windows were left open so flys and mosquitos everywhere, a door handle that someone could literally take the battery’s out and get in to the room, someone’s kiss prints on the mirror, stains on the pillows, mould, dust, broken walls and ripped wallpaper 🤢If you check other low reviews you will find the...

The staff at this hotel are fantastic!! We originally only planned to stay for 2 days, but my partner fell ill and needed to rest. They were only too happy to accommodate us and extend our stay, and during that time were very helpful in giving us places to find a doctor for foreign travellers. We had also booked a cruise for Ha Long Bay with them, and when we couldn't go because my partner was sick, they managed to get us a partial refund (we didn't expect to be refunded at all).

The rooms and bathroom are a little outdated, but work perfectly fine and have A/C, so it's really up to taste in style if that's what you are looking for. We were happy enough to stay on their large and comfortable bed!
