The staff charged me for four nights instead of the three nights that I had booked. I had extended my stay for one more night but they charged me for two rooms! They would have charged me for two rooms for my entire stay if I hadn't complained about it. They cancelled my other nights but adamantly said they could not cancel my first night of stay due to my partner and I checking in late. Understandable if I took away from their room that should've been available from their business. BUT it was their mistake to begin with AND they also had tons of rooms available as evident on their computer screen! (It showed green mark for unoccupied vs red for occupied). It was quite evident that they just wanted the extra money. I could not go on advocating for myself after such a long flight so I decided to pay for the extra night. Looking back, I know that they would never have given the money back. They were also not accommodating when it came to be wanting some money back for the full gas that I filled on their motorcycle. I did not even use one bar of the fuel but I filled it up all the way not knowing how much the motorcycle would consume in fuel. They lend the motorcycle to you almost completely empty of fuel. Fine it is what it is, I at least wanted a shower on the last day after checking out for the cost of the extra night and the fuel because I would have had to catch a train after I came back from a tour but of course they refused. I would not ruin your room, simply use the shower quickly so I can freshen up for the overnight train ride to Sapa. Overall, I was scammed of one full day of stay and more due to their mistake of booking me two rooms on the first night. (Of course I only ended up using one room but they offered that I should use two rooms and pay which only added to the frustration). Not only were they not accommodating, the room itself was dirty (there was hair left over on the bed and stains that weren't washed out), Wifi barely functioning (I had to use the Wifi in the corner of the washroom where the signal was marginally better), tiny rooms that barely was able to accommodate two adults with two luggage bags and the shower barely worked. Do NOT listen to the reviews. I have returned from a trip from all over Vietnam do yourself a favour and avoid this place at all costs. The reviews do not accurately reflect the true quality of this place and the staff. Read the responses they are writing the the reviewers. Should speak volumes. I made the mistake of following a review from an online video, it was probably sponsored by them into making it look better than it actually is. I implore you do not book here unless you want...

Worst experience Ive had in 4 trips to Vietnam. Ive been travelling Asia for 3+ month (this time) and stayed in 50+ hotels and this is the first to charge me for checking early.. They charge me a half day (200k VND to check in before 2pm). Tried to reason with the staff but they insist this is the law (it is not, I have stayed in 200+ hotels in Asia this has never happened once). It does not cost the hotel anything (let alone 200k), if the room is available they should let you in. Extremely poor service so I will not be returning here (I've stayed in at least 10 hotels in Hanoi with better service and price). Aside from this, the room is very hot and the shower temperature/power is not good. There is no lift so need to walk up to 6 floors each time coming in and out. 0/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND.

edit: in response to owner, yes I said I would give 1 star review for 200k vnd scam, my review clearly states this is the reason for the 1 star rating. If I had not been ripped off, obviously my rating...

⚠️⚠️ BEWARE NO WATER!!!! ⚠️⚠️

We booked here for one night after seeing the good Google reviews, never again. Water was out pretty much all night until our check-out time in the morning. There was not one drop from the sink, shower or toilet that would come out. Toilet wouldn’t even flush.

There is also NO SAFE in the room, there is no safe in the front desk either. It’s not exactly a secure lodging for that reason, despite the description in Agoda. We had to take out all our valuables including passports with us all day which added a lot of extra stress.
