Kim Phú villa Hoi An — Hotel in Hội An

I spent 3 months living at Kim Phu Villa and being taken care of by Leo and her husband Vince. I can't recommend this place highly enough. The villa is on a quiet side street off a main road. 5 min walk from Old Town, 10 min Grab from the beach, 5 min walk from the two best gyms. Leo insisted on doing my laundry for me and often asked if she could cook for me (she makes amazing spring rolls!) She organised a scooter for me to hire and the rooms were cleaned every 3 days. The villa is a relaxed and friendly environment to be in, and Leo's two year old daughter Cherry is so cute and highly entertaining! I was working from the villa and the wifi was exceptional, I had no issues with it whatsoever. The only negative I can think of - the frosted glass door doesn't effectively block out light or sound. I'd recommend earplugs and an eye mask for undisturbed sleep. All in all, it's in the perfect location to explore beautiful Hoi An from on foot, but what makes it the best guesthouse in the area is Leo. I knew she was a winner on the day I arrived and tried to pay for a beer at the cafe next door with a credit card but of course they wanted cash - Leo took the money out of her own pocket to cover me when I couldn't find a working ATM. We recently stayed 2 nights at Kim Phu Villas and were thoroughly impressed by every aspect of the Villas. We could not help but feel part of the family at Kim Phu, which made our stay that little more special and enjoyable. Vincent and Leo are such beautiful accommodating Hosts and the Villa complex is modern, stylish and extremely comfortable. Excellent beds for tired travellers, clean modern bathrooms and spacious air-conditioned rooms. A fabulous pool area to relax and all this only minute's walk from the centre of Hoi An.
