Maison Hai Homestay — Hotel in Hội An

It is no exaggeration when I say this is by far the best homestay I have ever stayed in! Not just in Vietnam, but anywhere. There is something truly special about this place and it comes down to the true kindness and genuine nature of Mr Hai and his wife. Mr Hai has so much enthusiasm for Hoi An and cares about his guests so much, when you talk with him you cannot help but smile ! He has recommendations for anything you want to do, lantern boats, coffee making, you name it he’s got a leaflet or suggestion for it 😂🙏🏼 He provided us with umbrellas when it rained, helped get our laundry cleaned and stayed up past midnight just to check us in. A true gentleman.

Enough about Mr Hai, the rooms are exceptionally clean and the whole rest of the property is immaculate also. Trust me you will see when you stay here …. The beds are SOO comfortable, it reminded me of my bed back home but even better. New, soft linen which made it hard to leave the bed in the morning’s. The bathroom is great and the water pressure is perfect. Lots of hot water too !

Immaculate, spotless, pristine! The cleanest homestay we've ever stayed at, not just in Vietnam but anywhere in the world. The care and attention to every detail by the hosts made us feel so comfortable and special. Hai and his beautiful wife always went above and beyond, from printing some documents I needed to offering us umbrellas, bicycles and dishes to borrow...and more. They also gave us as much filtered water as we needed free of charge and helped us with our laundry. They were always there to help, always thinking of what we may need, sometimes even before we did. It is clear that they take great pride in their home and their work, which is very inspiring. Perfect location on a quiet street yet within walking distance to many local eateries, coffee shops and a beautiful open park with lots of green space for my workouts. We originally booked for 3 nights but ended up extending for 1 month. We finally found our home in Vietnam! Thank you Hai for setting such a good example for my children and truly making us feel...

Super sweet, helpful and accommodating hosts. The place was always clean. The location is excellent. Just minutes on bike or walking from the heart of the city. We got free bikes from the hosts so we could move around as we pleased. They were also great at recommending laundry places, good restaurants and tailors. They helped us renting a motor bike, and assisted us with the laundry. They even helped us topping up our phones subscriptions when we were struggling with that. The wife out the kitchen to our disposition so that we could cook breakfast for our daughter. Every morning the whole breakfast-making setup was ready for us - so sweet and helpful of them. Our daughter loved the little street where it is located, and the neighbors were also super friendly. Free water to refill. A 10 out...
