The homestay is located a bit aside from the main streets in calmer area but still very really close to everything. The rooms are spacious, clean and well-equipped. I like the fact that there were a fan and an air-conditioning so I have the choice to use one or the other. The bed is big as is the bathroom in which a bathtub and a shower can both fit. The staff was super nice ! Always polite, helpful and smiling. At one point I asked them if they could get me a pillow that is smaller and so they remove some of the foam inside so I could have a better sleep. I really appreciated that. We stayed at Maison Vui for 3 nights.

Our room was extremely clean and the quality of the products was clearly very good for a homestay!

The bathtub was a amazing.

We had a problem with our room but the host was quick to fix it and it turned out fine.

I would say they should switch the curtains in the room as in the morning a lot of light shines through the room.

When we checked out they were extremely nice to lend us umbrellas for our walk and when we left called us a taxi and gave us some souvenirs.

All in all, for the price I would really recommend...

Many pros: wonderful homestay in convenient little alley with the absolute sweetest family! Wifi is solid, tub is luxurious and bed is firm yet comfy.

Just one con: a heads up, the language is a major barrier—for non-native speakers—if you’re trying to get help planning your itinerary for example… though they’re more than willing to help. (So if you do need concierge service in English without a hitch, perhaps consider a boutique hotel instead.)

All things considered, will recommend to anyone who wants a homestay...
