Firstly, the air conditioning in our room was very weak and didn’t work so the room was constantly sweltering day and night which was very unpleasant.
Secondly, although they offer a laundry service, don’t expect to get your clothes washed and returned to you as mine were binned. I handed all my clothes I brought backpacking other than the outfit on my person to be washed and the owner decided the bin them. Then when asked what happened she suggested we just move on and stop wasting time thinking? Of course there is a language barrier that did not help the situation but nevertheless she went through the packing cube of clothes I gave her and still binned them. As when I confronted her saying that was all my clothes that amount to a decent value, she responded that there were only dirty underwear in the bag which makes me suspect she didn’t bin all the items of clothing, just the ones they didn’t want. Overall, I did enjoy the rooms and the stay before the laundry situation and I am saddened to leave a bad review but unfortunately all my clothes have been binned with no way to get them back and I was offered £15 in compensation for about £200 worth of clothes which is very disappointing. We were also overcharged on the amount of water bottles we had drank in our room! as my friend did take a photo before we drank them as proof but we had so much faff with my binned clothes we decided not to raise the issue. And lastly, my friends airtag was accidentally left with in her laundry so when she handed it over to be cleaned the airtag went with it without her knowing. Her laundry was later handed back a few hours later and then she realised her airtag was gone. She alerted the airtag so it started ringing and then magically the lady came upstairs and returned it. It hadn’t been ran through the wash as there was no water damage and it worked perfectly fine. This made us suspicious as to whether it would have been returned if she hadn’t of realised it was missing… All in all, the house itself was pleasant and we had a comfortable stay, but the cons outweigh the pros massively as I now need to buy new bikinis, bras, tops, skirts, dresses and underwear because everything I bought with me has...
Read moreMe and my partner stayed here for most of our time in Hoi An and it has been one of our favourite stays on our round the world trip. ||Firstly, the staff are incredibly kind, chatty and helpful - we couldn’t of asked for better hosts. They helped with all questions about tailoring and reconvened the best ones for us. They cooked us a lovely breakfast every morning - there is lots of choice! ||Secondly, the room was so nice. The bed was so comfy we struggled to get up in the mornings. It was spacious and very clean. We would definitely return here if we come back to Hoi An again. ||It’s in a perfect location - nice a quiet as it is set in a bit of a backstreet but only about a 10 minute walk from the old quarter which is where we spent most evenings. They also offer bikes to hire for the day for $1 so you can bike to the...
Read moreThe rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. They were extremely accommodating and allowed us to check in early at like 10am. We got to homestay super early and I didn’t wanna wait.High quality rooms (there was even a tv and the shower) The caretakers were kind enough to lend us cycles free of cost. Id recommend to use the cycle during the day time and not the evening. The evening gets crowded in the market and it's best if you walk there. It's at a walkable distance to hoian Market. Took advantage of the downtown location to walk to dinner, check out a couple galleries, visit the lantern city and have drinks I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the...
