Green Coco Homestay — Hotel in Hội An

Exceptional!! This was the best hotel we have stayed during our 3 weeks trip in Vietnam!! The room was colonial style with wooden floor, nice furniture, romantic wooden lamps, a super comfortable mattress and a beautiful terrace with plants and view..It was so quiet during the night, that we had the best sleep ever. The room and the bathroom were really big, with windows, rain shower and abundant hot water! There was also a fridge, air conditioner and smart TV. Not to mention the cleanliness, they were cleaning the room and changed towels every day. The location was the best! 5 minutes walk to the historical center of Hoi an but away from the rivers of tourists. Also 10 minutes by bike to the beach, with lots of shops, banks and traditional markets around! One cannot find such a luxury room in this price. We both had a wonderful time at Green Coco Homestay. The walk into the Old Quarter (touristy bit) is actually really lovely and short so you can be close to the action but still sleep soundly at night. ||||The people who run this place are a family so the homestay is very intimate and welcoming. We never felt that we were hard-selled on day trips or tailors that she recommended. ||||Overall we had a lovely relaxing time, felt a little spoilt with the large room and private balcony. We are usually set to a strict budget with travelling and this place allowed us to live like royalty without damaging our wallets!||||The only feedback is that the bike hire is a little more expensive than...

I asked to use their washroom and they were extremely rude. As I walked out I saw the cutest little puppy!! Absolutely adorable, pet him a little! He was the sweetest little thing!! As I was leaving an employee (maybe the owner) came out and started hitting the dog with a stick.. this psycho wouldn’t stop even when I confronted him! Had to yell at him for him to stop hitting an innocent little puppy with a wood stick! Do not stay here and do not support these animal abusers...absolutely disgusted by what I witness... the puppy must have been a month or 2 old... defenseless and heartlessly abused by its owner! Hope this place burns...
