As a dedicated meat lover, I was initially skeptical when my wife convinced me to have dinner at Minh Hien Vegetarian Restaurant. However, my doubts were quickly dispelled, and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and taste of the dishes.
Ambiance: The restaurant boasts a charming and cozy atmosphere, creating a welcoming and peaceful dining experience. It’s a perfect spot to enjoy a meal in a relaxed setting.
Service: The staff at Minh Hien were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring we had a fantastic dining experience. Their knowledge of the menu and helpful recommendations made a significant difference.
Food: The dishes were an absolute revelation. Each one was packed with flavor and beautifully presented. Despite being a vegetarian restaurant, the variety and creativity of the menu left nothing to be desired. The fresh ingredients and well-balanced flavors offered a delightful culinary experience that even a meat lover like myself thoroughly enjoyed.
Highlights:
• The tofu dishes were particularly impressive, with textures and flavors that were satisfying and delicious. • The variety of vegetables and spices used made each dish unique and memorable. • The spring rolls and various noodle dishes stood out as favorites.
Conclusion: Minh Hien Vegetarian Restaurant exceeded my expectations in every way. It’s a fantastic option for anyone looking to explore vegetarian cuisine, whether you’re a vegetarian or a dedicated meat eater. Highly recommended for a delightful dining...
Read moreWe were disappointed at best eating here.
(Long Review, Bottom line : would not recommend, would not return)
After a personal recommendation from some other people and reading the reviews, we were real excited to try it.
However, what we had was easily the worst vegetarian food we have had in Vietnam (and anywhere is Southeast Asia)
Mango / coconut fried rice tasted so salty, it was almost like eating seawater.
The fresh spring rolls were completely tasteless.
The local Ho Ani noodles were neither good nor bad, but not tasty. Hard to finish the bowl.
And finally, the wonton was probably the best thing, but only because of the nice mango inside, otherwise bland without a mango in the bite.
For the price of the food here and the hype over it, I am really disappointed. Maybe it was an off night for the food, but I would neither recommend or return here.
We’ve had far better food at random “Chay” restaurants in the middle of nowhere and for around 20,000 per person.
We were considering the cooking class based off other recommendations, but that’s definitely not happening now.
Zero stars for the food, but the two stars go to the staff, who were helpful,...
Read moreWe have been here 4 times and everytime we say we’ll give it another try but always end up disappointed in one way or another.
So where to start? The first time we went the table smelt really badly of dog pee and we had to move tables. The second and third times it was okay, the food is average and over-priced compared to other fantastic much cheaper vegan places in Hoi An.
And tonight it was just terrible. We came with our friends as a big group. From the start they mixed up our orders and served us random dishes in random order. The first dish was served half an hour before the last, so one person was left with no food for a long time. In the end, they brought her something she hadnt ordered but she took it anyway because of how hungry she was. The staff dont seem trained in taking orders. They also just hang out around the kitchen and it’s difficult to catch their attention.
To top it off, there was a ‘friendly’ cockroach that kept running on the wall and the floor next...
