Coal River Farm — Local services in Hobart

This commant is base on the customer service. The staff here is very friendly. In early morning, while I was waiting the library opened, I was sitting in Coal River Farm's business area. I apologized that for interrupting the business and I would leave right the way. But the staff welcome me to stay. She said it's early morning, not busy. So don't worry. She gave me a big smile and back to her duty to keep preparing to start the day. She even didn't ask me to order anything.

That just made my day with feeling so comfy and touching. This is just a great example for customer service. In the unreasonable condition to provide the best greetings to any person who came in to the business...

OH.....MY.....GOD !!!!! I've had chocolates everywhere I've travelled and I must say that theese chocolates are the best so far and I'm not just saying that because I'm a local . So smooth , tasty the flavours are so strong . The raspberry champagne is absolutely perfect. To pick 1 is impossible . The service from the young lady was outstanding, polite, freindly, well spoken and knowledgeable about the product. Definitely will purchase again . Will be buying some cheese next time aswell . The chairs outside the cafe but within the cat and fiddle square says " coal farm river customer only". This seems a bit rude and portrays pack of empathy. While, it makes sense that they could direct their customers to their set of chairs, the sign on the table prohibits other people to sit on it even when it's empty. I don't care how good the food is, this shows a mentality of the owners that they don't care about public perception and...
