ATYP is a place that has had a profound influence in my life. As a young person I spent many hours in classes and rehearsals where I learnt life skills that, at the time, I didn’t understand. I met people who stretched my horizons and challenged me to push myself - in a safe and supportive environment where my many failures were just another step of discovery. It helped my confidence, my literacy, my creativity, my communication skills, my compassion, my composure under pressure, it enriched my understanding of the world and myself, it opened me up to what life could be and helped me I hope everyone gets to find a place like this and that ATYP gets to find every kid...

Amazing place, I went there on a school trip and it was so much fun, We got to learn about costume designs and we also got to go eat out in front of the harbour bridge but my favourite part was when we went into a massive theatre and we got to act and read scripts , I wish I could go there to take acting classes and workshops there all the time and not...
