Pier One Restaurant. Unfortunately the service was lacking to say the least. I had to get up several times to approach staff to order things. The champagne was in an ice bucket at the desk as they wouldn’t put it on our table, we had to keep getting up to refill our own glasses too. The atmosphere was bland and the food extremely expensive and very bland too. The largest steak for $80+ was tiny for a share and nothing special, I cook better at home. The potato scallops were very greasy and unnecessary in such a restaurant but we ordered them to fill up on. The stuffed vegetables were all stuffed with exactly the same thing and again very bland, hardly any flavour. The table salt was hard with moisture and you had to dig your fingers in to scrap it out. I gave the manager feedback and she was the best thing of the whole night. She took it very graciously. I hope she can get it to improve. Would I go back…. Absolutely not in a pink fit! It’s a shame as we went for a...

False advertising. Sydney Festival $30 deal ‘’meal and a drink of your choice” only when you click a link and read the fine print it says just an appetizer or small plate. Also nowhere they indicated a 15% surcharge because of public holiday. I paid $89.90 for just a main with bread on the side, a glass of wine and sparkling water (that’s on tap and they charge you $5 for) These prices are insane and definitely not worth it. Overpriced restaurant please don’t go there. In Sydney there are way more places where you can get much better quality food for...

Disappointed with the food at Bar One. I ordered a $38 burger that was supposed to come with fries with the skin on. The burger was sub standard, because the bun was cheap and was larger than the patty, the cheese was American, and the presentation was not appealing. The fries were substandard, ordinary cheap fast-food fries. I expected to get better fries based on the menu description. The grilled fish was $45 and had no side, like a green veggie. It was over priced and the quality of the food was not good. The only enjoyable part...

Spent a wonderful Christmas Day here with family and friends. Amazing! Sydney’s best kept secret! Accommodating service for our large group with some special needs requirements with mobility issues. The manager called me to specifically ask what would work best for us. Food was great. Very relaxed atmosphere. Amazing view…and the harbour pool enclosure. Fantastic! Loved every minute. Can’t wait to return. Highly recommended!

Simply amazing place. The ambience was soothing and relaxing with a cool breeze. The Kerrigan is also known as the Shack. Everyone at the Kerrigan are friendly. The chef Iana has what it takes! The food was very tasty and tasted like homemade. My favourite were fish tacos and a must try! Definitely will try the oyesters next time.

Fantastic location right on the pier, both indoor and outdoor seating options available (dog friendly). Somewhat an extensive menu for food as technically a ‘bar’. There are also a few options on the menu for dogs to select from. Prices are fair and reasonable as this is part of a 5 star hotel.
