Chuck & Son’s Brewing Co. in St Peters is a brilliant addition to Sydney’s Inner West brewery scene. Founded by legendary brewer Chuck Hahn and his son Scott, the venue strikes the perfect balance between craft, heritage, and hospitality. The taproom itself is impressive, an expansive industrial space with gleaming brewing tanks, a long timber bar, and a rooftop terrace that feels both stylish and welcoming. It’s family- and dog-friendly, making it a place for everyone to enjoy.

The beers are exceptional, with a lineup that covers both approachable classics and more adventurous styles. From the crisp Original Pilsner and refreshing Radler to the full-flavoured West Coast IPA, every brew showcases decades of expertise and attention to detail. There’s also a thoughtful wine list and playful beer-inspired cocktails for those after something different.

At the heart of the venue is the food truck Tony Eats from Whole Beast Butchery, brought to life under the banner of Chuck’s Kitchen. Far from standard brewery fare, the menu features standout dishes like crispy chicken burger, smoked trout and the grazing platters that pair perfectly with the beers. Generous portions, bold flavours, and quality produce make it a highlight in its own right.

Overall, Chuck & Son’s delivers top-tier drinks, excellent food, and a lively yet relaxed atmosphere an absolute must-visit...

I visited Chuck & Son’s for the first time on the Saturday night before Easter, and honestly, I’m still thinking about it. It was the best night of my entire life - no exaggeration.

From the moment I walked in, the vibe was so spot-on, laid-back, cozy, full of positive energy. I hadn’t realised myself overwhelmed before Bella came - a genuine and down-to-earth staff. She really made the experience fun, easy and stand out. Following Bella’s recommendation, I had a tasting of West Coast IPA, XPA, Radler and landed on the XPA, which was super refreshing and hit just right (the most balanced of refreshment and flavor in the map on your menu I reckon). The beertenders behind the tap were legit, attentive and knowledgeable too.

Food-wise, I had chips and the best lamb ribs I’ve ever had (seriously, I told the kitchen they nailed it). They deserve the praise.

To add a speechless touch to the whole evening, my high-top table at the back outdoor witnessed the breathtaking sunset that made my night complete and unforgettable.

Your place is an absolute gem. Thank you so much the whole amazing team for your top-notch business. I can’t wait to come back and bring more friends....

Absolutely Outstanding!

Chuck and Son’s Brewery is hands down one of the best brewery experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warm, genuine hospitality that instantly makes you feel at home. The staff go above and beyond—friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what they do.

The atmosphere is just perfect. Whether you’re looking to relax with friends, enjoy a date night, or celebrate a 3rd birthday, the vibe is welcoming, lively, and thoughtfully curated. You can tell a lot of heart went into creating the space—every detail, from the lighting to the seating, adds to the inviting ambiance.

The service? Top-notch. Fast, attentive, and always with a smile. And cleanliness is clearly a priority here. Everything was spotless—from the bar to the bathrooms—which really adds to the overall comfort of the experience.

If you’re in the area and haven’t visited yet, you’re missing out. Chuck and Son’s Brewery is a true gem especially with the live music and fave painting on a Sunday. My family and I can’t wait...
