Blackbeard's Escape — Local services in New Providence

For the first Escape Room in The Bahamas, they did a great job. This is a fun, family-oriented game to play and great for beginners. However, for experts or persons who have played in an Escape Room before, this would be a quick and easy solve. My group and I completed the room in less than twenty minutes when we were given an hour. There were a couple of things that bothered me. When I tried to use apply a coupon to a group booking, it would not accept it. When I tried booking for 7 to use the coupon for the 8th, the price would have been the same amount as if I booked for 8. Therefore, I was unable to utilize the coupon and paid full price. In addition, I did not care for the many "do-not-touch" stickers that were placed throughout the room. I felt that it took away from the game. I understand that appliances, such as the ductless, shouldn't be tinkered with as it is not a part of the game; yet, I would have thought and hoped that would be obvious. There were also props and decorations in the room that had the stickers on them, which was a let down. I hope in the future there would be no need for the stickers and that all the props and decorations could be a part of the game or at least opened and tinkered with, without being damaged. BEST ESCAPE ROOM EVER!

My wife and I love doing escape rooms, so when we visited Nassau we had to give Blackbeard’s Escape a try. It didn’t disappoint! The room and props all felt very authentic, and the story was realistic, fun, and engaging. It felt like we were really in Blackbeard’s lair! The puzzles and clues were challenging and exciting, with many surprises I did not see coming. With each step we completed, we were cheering not only for each other, but for how awesome the game was! The host was professional and played an immersive character role while undertaking her duties, and we felt very safe at all times. We escaped the room with moments to spare. For the first time to attempted to do an escape room as a family. I have to say this was the greatest experience my family and I had, it left us wanting more. The staff was so professional and enthusiastic along with animated, which fit the role of the "pirates" all too well. I definitely recommend this event!!
