It was nice to find a cool Irish Pub in Nassau. We called into Shenanigans Irish Bar for a pint after a long day of tours. There are about 6 or so draft lines. Of course Guiness is a staple as it should be. My wife has a wonderful berry smash cocktail. They had great reasonably priced T-shirts. We took home a couple. This is an upstairs establishment. If there was an elevator, I didn’t see it. The steps were very easy to navigate. The A/C was nice & cool for a typically very hot Bahamian day. They do add an 18% gratuity (auto-grat) & even to merchandise. Didn’t matter. The service was fabulous. We felt it was all very reasonably priced for a touristy high rent district. Quick & Easy access & a very short walk from the port / cruise ship docks.

If you love local dive bars you will LOVE this place. Warning, it's in a sketchy alley way and looks like they aren't even open. Also, the door upstairs stays locked and you have to knock like it's a speak easy. This is off the beaten path and a place locals go. Strong drinks and although I didn't try the food it looked and smelled great. Really cool laid back vibe. They play sports on all their TVs and have an outdoor seating area that overlooks the street below. They take cash or card and have wifi. Down the alley and up the stairs and knock on the door. ENJOY 😉

This pub is walking distance from the cruise ship on Bay St. It's funny to find an Irish pub in the most unexpected countries. This place is refreshing restaurant from all the other places you can choose from. Enjoy a pint of Guinness on Tap on the balcony as you take in the beautiful views of the Bahamani people strolling down below. The food offerings have some unique twist on typical tavern fare. The service is very good. The prices are reasonable for a tourist trap. Overall a cool experience should be had by anyone who visits this establishment.

Yesterday 12/19/2024, me and some friends from the cruise ship went to Shenanigans. I've been to this place several times since 7 years ago when I started working on ships. I was always well treated and received until yesterday. When we arrived there, the bartender was rude because we wanted to sit outside so my friend could smoke. There were several people outside and we were not exception. The bartender didn't clean or dry our table (it was raining and super wet) and took a lot of time to take any orders. She was extremely rude since we got there and we sat in wet tables (that she could easily clean within seconds). Any time we tried to order a drink or food it took forever and she was pretending she wasn't listening to us. When I ordered salt for my fries, it never came and I had to go inside to grab it myself after 10 minutes. When I was paying my check using google pay, the same bartender pushed aggressively my hand because I took more than 2 seconds to remove my phone from the machine. At the end, they charged the wrong amount from one of my friends, who had already left. I had to pay for what they didn't charge being accused and mistreated. The owner came to try to resolve the situation. He was actually nice and respectful (at least more than the bartenders). I feel bad for him because he doesn't know the entire situation that happened and doesn't know that actually his employees were extremely rude and unprepared since the beggining. Something was wrong that day and they can't blame the costumers. Please fix your treatment with people, especially who's been there for many...

We used to visit your bar each time in Nassau. That will no longer be the case. Tried to visit today (December 5). We made it half way up the stairs and a lady came out the door to tell us she would lead us up. We had no idea if this lady even worked there. She asked if we wanted a table to which I responded “no thank you, we like to sit at the bar”. She said the bar was full. I saw that there was 1 open stool right by the front door. I asked her if my wife could sit and I’d stand. She said “Yes”. So I took a step towards the bar. Then a tall white guy comes running up and insults us. He said “can’t you read the sign”. I turned to look at what sign he was talking about. He grabbed the sign and turned it. Someone had probably bumped it, and it had turned sideways (unreadable). But the sign shouldn’t have mattered. We had already made arrangements at the bar with the “seating host”. He obviously jumped the gun insulting us. We just turned and left and said “No Thank You, we won’t be back”. What a horrible way to...

We tried to come to this place twice- the first time on a Sunday during the posted google hours and they ended up being closed. Second time, surprisingly they were open. I have to say, I kind of wish they weren't open! The server gal was nice - which was the highlight of the dinner. The beer was small and overpriced, the meal was sooo tiny, I had the Shepard Pie, and they served it in a tiny little bowl what I would normally expect to hold a side of gravy at any other restaurant. It came with a few measly scraps of some kind of steamed cabbage or something. The meal was $18? Oh- and a mandatory gratuity is added to your bill. I can only assume why. When we had our bill, I was on the phone dealing with something briefly, and a different server guy decided to come to interrupt my conversation to ask how I wanted to pay. Obviously I wasn't happy he decided to interrupt me. I would definitely avoid this place, you can do better, there's McDonalds...
