Sugar Rush Lounge Nassau — Restaurant in New Providence

We were notified of this restaurant by a vendor offering free shots and authentic Bahamian soul food. We went up to the restaurant and we were immediately greeted by the staff. They let us know we could use the WiFi to access their menu which was really nice. My mom wanted conch salad which they didn’t offer but the waitress quickly recommended a place we could get some with large portions. I thought that was really nice. The food came out at an average pace. It wasn’t fast or slow. The spinach dip was loved by everyone as well as the Mac and cheese. The conch fritters were heavily breaded so we didn’t feel like we had much conch which left much to be desired. The free shots were of some very strong rum punch. My wife and I visited Nassau recently as part of a cruise and we were directed to this spot by some vendors at the craft market just outside the pier. We got there and were warmly greeted by the staff. We ordered wings, fries, and fruit juices. We waited for a fairly long time since we were the first customers of the day and things were just getting underway. When it eventually arrived, the food was excellent, however. The staff was friendly and the manager and I had a very lively chat about all kinds of topics. I will definitely be returning to Nassau and when I do I will be having lunch with the staff of the Sugar...

Finally, a place on Bay Street filled with fun, great food and excellent customer service. The Sugar Rush Lounge has become my preferred outlet in a short period of time.

The colorful atmosphere and friendly staff will lift your spirits even when you're feeling down. And it's children friendly too.
