I don’t normally write reviews unless I have great things to say and pass on to others but I had such an awful experience with the owner of this store (Jan) tonight I can’t help it. I was really looking forward to buying a shirt for my mum as a surprise gift that I had seen 2 days ago and thought she would really like but was disappointed and confused when I found that the size I needed was priced $10 more!! then all the other shirts right besides it of exactly the same material, quality, cut and style and actually when I measured them up against each other they were almost the same size even (I just wanted the specific colour for her). The (friendly) girl working the store couldn’t figure out the reason either and said she would call her boss to ask why. I said I would speak with her (because there was other customers waiting behind me and the store was closing soon so I didn’t want to make them wait) the owners reaction was an immediate attack. I tried to explain I wasn’t trying to argue but was just confused about the price difference and was answered back with a rude attack and total lack of consideration that it was a legit question and that it doesn’t seem fair that someone needing a slightly larger size would be charged $10 more for the same product. Her only response was “why don’t you come back tomorrow when I’m in and I’ll argue with you then about it” and she hung up on me. I immediately put both shirts back saying there was no way I could buy anything from a woman that treated a customer that way. I left the store feeling upset and sad that my whole walk across town to get a gift for my mum had ended in such an unnecessary negative experience. Read moreSpent over $500 in two days shopping in this store this past week. I needed to return two small items totalling $35 and I was rudely told by a young female employee that there were no refunds or exchanges. I was rather shocked! I told her I had been in over the past few days but dealt with someone else who was working. I told her I needed to return these two items and she said it wasn’t a problem. This woman who was so rude then just pointed to the sign in the store that there were no refunds or exchanges. She said I would have to come back and see the Manager when she was working which was in 4 days when of course I would have already left to go home as do most tourists. Possibly this is what they bank on. There was absolutely no reason for this employee to be so rude so buyer beware! You buy it there, you keep it!! No matter what!! She sure needs a good lesson in customer service because she certainly doesn’t know what customer service is! Send your staff to school to learn proper service skills and definitely teach them some manners!! I don’t think I’ve ever been talked to so rudely by a store employee. Perhaps it was mostly her immaturity although I think she really should have known better. She had been busy outside in her phone texting away while all the customers had full run of the store. Read moreRude and unprofessional staff working July 22 afternoon/evening. Got mad we went down an aisle that was apparently "blocked off" by them putting a rack halfway into the aisle and a box. Then when I patiently stood at the counter with my items ready to pay, I could see the lady staff member was showing a customer something and obviously the staff member had seen me so I didn't press the bell as I find those to be a bit rude to press right away. The lady greeted me with "see that shiny bell right in front of you? You need to press it, we don't know when your ready." I told her that I'm good and that I'll pass on my purchases and my girlfriend and I walked out of the store not spending a penny.
