I was passing by this place when to girls standing outside the store asked me if I'd like to try on a hand cream. I was like okay. As one of the girls put the cream on my hand she asked me to go inside and they can show me more stuff. I agreed and went inside. She told me to sit on a chair and bombarded me with different kinds of products, all very pricy. She talked sooo fast I couldn't even catch up with what she was saying or doing. I have acne scars and hyperpigmentation on my skin, and these people sure know how to use your insecurities to push and rush a person to buy their products. The girl's name is Anna. She gave me a night cream and peeling gel. I asked her how long does it last she said it lasts two years, I thought to myself so it's not that bad and its worth it. About 3 months later, half the product is gone and nothing! first of all Anna lied about how long the product lasts, second of all she lied about how beneficial it is and how its going to improve my skin after I had explained all of concerns to her. She pushed and rushed me and also added another peeling gel then smiled and said you get a complimentary facial and nail kit. I went in for the facial about a week or two after I purchased the products. This time I met with the manager who also pushed me this time to buy a device that costs around $4000. Luckily, this time ad didn't fall for their sales tactics and didn't buy the device even though the manager insisted and tried to do anything so I would buy the device. I don't remember the name of the manager. I mean if you wanna sell products, okay, but don't lie to people and trick them, and push them to buy your products. Also, I left a review which seems to be deleted. At least be honest and let your customers have a say and don't hurry them to buy whatever it is that you're trying to sell.I hope my review doesn't get deleted this time. I am very disappointed and regret buying anything from this place. A waste of time, money, and energy. I wish I could give this...
Read moreI recently had a deeply unsettling experience at Oasis Aesthetics on Robson, which I feel compelled to share. From the moment I walked in, I was met with a barrage of flattery and high-pressure sales tactics that made me feel rushed and overwhelmed. The staff seemed more interested in pushing products than providing genuine service. After a facial, I was bombarded with discussions about various products. Before I knew it, I was pressured into making a purchase through a loan that ended up costing me over $2000. Far beyond what I had intended to spend. Despite my attempts to say no, the staff (manager) continued to add "free" products and services, leaving me little room to think or consider options. What shocked me the most that I was informed later when I tried to return the products about a no-refund policy on these "promotion" products. A few days later, realizing I could not afford the payments, I called to initiate a return, only to be flatly told there were no return. Each time I expressed my financial struggles, the manager continued to ignore my concerns. She went inside a couple of times pretending to be talking on the phone with the owner, then comes back telling me the same thing and the owner said no return. I felt manipulated and trapped in a situation that was clearly designed to benefit the business, not the customer. When I mentioned my intent to leave a review, they seemed indifferent to my frustration. My experience at Oasis Aesthetics was one of the manipulation and predatory sales tactics. I urge anyone concedering their services to think twice and be cautious. I felt truly let down by this spa, and I hope that my experience helps others avoid the same fate. I jope that the owner can do something about this matter and help me return these...
Read moreBeware of Oasis Aesthetics Spa – Misleading Sales Tactics & False Promises.
I had a very disappointing experience at Oasis Aesthetics Spa. They pulled me in from the street, offering a "free sample" and claiming they had high-end skincare products at a huge discount for today only. Once inside, they used aggressive and pushy sales tactics to pressure me into buying.
At first, I refused and tried to leave, but they insisted I sit down. They showed me expensive online brand products and offered a deal: if I bought a skincare machine with products, I would receive 9 free facial sessions and additional gift products. I was caught off guard and felt overwhelmed by their high-pressure tactics, making it difficult to think clearly. They surrounded me—the manager, the store owner, and several employees—all pressuring me to buy.
When I got home and realized the products were not right for my skin, I called them the very next day to request a refund. They refused, claiming all sales were final—something they never mentioned before the purchase. Even though I specifically asked the manager if I could return the products if they didn’t work for me, she said yes. However, once I paid, they denied any possibility of a return.
They also lied about the free facials. They originally promised 9 sessions, but after I used only 3, they suddenly told me, "Your facials are done. We only offer 3."
This business preys on customers with misleading discounts, false promises, and high-pressure sales tactics. Be very cautious before buying anything from them. I highly recommend researching the business first and shopping elsewhere where you can trust the sales process and...
