I was glad that I was able to stop by before leaving Vancouver. My flight was leaving the next day and I needed to track down some souvenirs for my family, friends, and co-workers. The gentlemen were very kind and were patient. They made good small talk and gave interesting tidbits about some of the items. To be honest, the items were priced nicely and I was in and out pretty quickly. Next time I visit, I'll be sure to stop by and pick up another item or two. Again, aside from the fantastic selection, the two gentleman were friendly. I got keychains for some coworkers, a shirt for a good friend, and a small espresso mug for one of my roommates who used to live in Vancouver. They were all satisfied with their items and now I look forward to delivering the rest of the gifts to my family and some friends. Everything was positive until my sister went to pay with cash and instead of the man (who I am assuming is the owner given his demeanour) giving her the correct change back he short changed her. She pointed this out and she could see he was becoming quite uncomfortable, insisting that he gave her the correct change. He carried on longer than he should, before finally giving in and giving her the correct change. It’s sad to see what was a good experience be completely ruined by this man’s petty dishonesty.
