Omega watch I’ve had my watch a little over three years and I’ve been calling ever since October to try to get my battery replaced. I spoke to Calvin he said they were moving and they wouldn’t be able to do it and I called again they said their computer system was down then I called again they said they were so busy during Christmas season it would have to wait till January. I found this extremely frustrating. I didn’t know getting a battery replaced would be so hard. Yesterday I was having a business lunch in the hotel so I thought I’d go next-door to the watch store at their new location in the hotel it’s much smaller! I finally got the security guards attention, because he was looking at his phone for a full five minutes, he opened the door one inch and said can I help you? I said yes can I come in? he said do you have an appointment? I said no but Calvin knows me I just want to speak to him about my watch. Reluctantly he let me in, there was nobody in the store no customers they weren’t busy at all. I said Calvin I have been calling you for months trying to get my battery replaced for my watch and you refuse to do it during Christmas I can see there’s nobody in the store right now so why are you been putting me off he said all there’s nobody here right now but we can get very busy! I’m like seriously I spent 4000. on my watch and I feel like the service you’ve given me is very bad and your security guard profiled me and didn’t want to let me in. He said OK OK I will replace your battery I guess. I’m like well, you know what I think I’ll go somewhere else. Due to my frustration and Calvin’s poor attitude I was so unhappy, I didn’t trust him with my watch. Read moreI originally was looking at a 3861 Moonwatch in Hesalite at a retailer closer to me, but I decided to give the Boutique a call and after a 5 min conversation with Jike Zhou I knew that the only place I would give my money and time to would be the Omega Boutique at the Fairmont. The experience was by far one of the best I have had purchasing a luxury item like a watch. My wife and I entered the store and were immediately greeted by Jike and he not only remembered my name but made us feel welcome. Jorge was the other gentleman that was on the floor and he too took the time to greet us, made us feel at home and brought out sparkling water and later nice 12 year old McAllan. The store was somewhat busy with other customers so Jorge took the time to talk to us about the history of the moonwatch. He brought an Omega book and I thoroughly enjoyed the conversation. We shared some laughs and soon I was enthralled to be there even more. Jorge and Jike were truly class people and cemented this experience in me for future purchases at this Boutique. They both spent time with me, shared their wisdom and let me be as particular as I am without question or hesitation. I walked out smiling and wearing my all time favourite piece on my wrist, it was not just a memory it was an experience I will cherish.
