Extremely biased opinions towards the people of the DTES, and the residents that they are supposedly there to help. More like an (against their will) adult live in day care center, run by a group of power and money hungry non professionals who like to pat them selves on the back within the community for a job well done. Albeit very hard for the community to see the real truth underneath the many layers of band aids and masked by the political clout of their unknowingly major financial supporter Vancouver Fraser Health Board. I wish it could be truthfully said that the PHS were the fighting force in harm reduction in the DTES, but that would be a lie......They have only been around to pump hands and kiss the babies after organizations such as VANDU, and personal spokesman ex mayor of Vancouver Phillip Owen had paved the way in harm reduction facilities as the life skills center, Insite's safe injection site and Onsite detox & recovery...
