This is extremely far from quality Uzbek cuisine and is absolutely not worth the money spent. The portions are quite small, but even on them the chefs of the restaurant manage to save! We ordered pilaf with beef and it was completely bland, greasy and for some reason instead of seasonings, garlic and barberries it was filled with chickpeas. The meat was dry and one couldn't even find it in rice. The vegetarian ganfan was better, but it was a tiny cup of vegetables on a huge mountain of sticky white rice. But the most shameful thing is, of course, the wafer rolls with condensed cream filling. Guys, have a conscience! There was some cream only on the ends of the rolls, and inside they were completely empty and dry. If you want real tasty oriental food for the same money - order from Lamajun, East is East and Bodega on Main: generous portions, quality food, lots of flavors. And Tashkent chef should reconsider the menu in favor of...

Tasty food that that gives you homemade vibes, service was very warm and we’ve enjoyed our meal. Good portion of side salad and borsh and lots of meat in samsa as well. There was some beef in borsh which was unexpected - very good value for your money. С черным хлебушком. :) Только не хватало чесночка вприкуску. Plov was also tasty and had chickpeas in it which reminds me of a desi style pulao. Wish portion was a little bigger for plov but oh well it’s a labour of love at the end of the day.

Located in a very dull quiet mall in the food court area on the second floor. Not the best crowd there but people were overall okay. Not really a place you enjoy eating at but the food was and service were well...

Having recently experienced the flavors at Tashkent - Uzbek Cuisine, the newest halal restaurant in Vancouver, I am thrilled to share my positive impressions. The Plov is a standout, with perfectly cooked rice, aromatic spices, and tender meat creating a memorable experience. The Lagman options, both classic and fried, are equally impressive with impeccably cooked hand-pulled noodles and flavorful broths. If you're a fan of Uzbek cuisine or simply looking to explore new flavors, Tashkent Uzbek Cuisine Halal is a must-visit. I can confidently say that this restaurant has earned its place as a top choice for those who appreciate authenticity, quality, and a warm atmosphere. Highly...

I got the beef plov and cheese samsa. Super good quality and interesting seasoning for the rice. Plus it's a lady operated store and the lady at the counter was amazingly warm and welcoming. It's definitely a place you want to try.

It's my first time having Uzbek cuisine and I'll definitely be back if I'm at International Village again. I met a friend for lunch and we got: Pilaf - UZBEK PLOV, 5 pcs of Dumplings with Diced Beef - MANTI, the Ayran Samsa Combo, and the Tomatoes & Onions Salad - ACHICHUK. The dumplings and Samsa were stuffed with savoury, juicy beef, and the pilaf tasted light but filling. The tomatoes tasted fresh and the salad was seasoned perfectly overall. I've never had the Ayran Yoghurt Drink and was told that it may not be for everyone, but personally, I really liked the salty, tangy, and frothy texture. We were there at noon on a Tuesday and there were plenty of seats available in the food court.
