We had an incredible day with Hannah and her crew at Cabo San Juan, truly a paradise on earth! The journey from Santa Marta is only 1.5 hours on a fast yet smooth and comfortable boat with a covering that provides ample shade. Lunch was superb; I had the blueberry yogurt salad while my kids had chicken pasta…healthy and all served in recyclable bowls. I am glad we chose that option because food at Cabo San Juan is pricey and the area can get crowded. I had always wanted to visit Tyrona Park, but was deterred by the prospect of long queues at the entrance and the long trek to reach the beach. Opting for the boat excursion was an excellent idea as we could explore five different beaches and had enough time to swim and relax. I highly recommend this experience; we had a wonderful time and can't wait to return!
