We had arrived to this establishment the day prior and had a lovely time with a round of drinks for the six of us. But today we had an issue with one of the outdoor gas heaters, They had been in use the previous day from what I could tell. When we sat in the same place today, my brother tried to turn on the heater, a man who we assume worked there came outside and in a threatening tone (we had expected it was a language thing) said "do you have a problem?". My brother asked how to turn on the heater, but the man cut him off and said "the sun is shining, there is no need". The temperature at the time was 1° Celsius, I ate my food with my jacket and scarf, keeping my hands in my pockets between bites. The food was good, we had ordered 2 portions of chips, olives and a cheese and meat board for us to share along with a round of drinks. The cheese board had arrived without houmous (the menu had said there would be) and the woman we questioned about it seemed uninterested with our problem, my mother used tartar sauce with her meat. The food totaled to around €64, which was significantly more expensive than other places we've been, we would usually spend half that amount for 2 rounds of drinks. A glass had been dropped right behind me while we were there, but it took quite a while for it to be cleaned up. At least 2 groups of people walked over the glass and the woman who dropped the glass chose to give the bill to a couple (bringing them over the glass again) before she cleaned it. overall, I have to say I'm quite disappointed by the staff here. They were rude, unwelcoming and uninterested in there job. I'm sure it is difficult dealing with tourists all day, but this kind of behaviour is unacceptable. The only good thing I can say about this place is that it is situated right next to the river. I would not recommend this place to tourists as they clearly have no time for us, so why should i give...

we just wanted to get a little snack and something to drink (one beer, small fries) the service was honestly terrible.. the waiter was kinda friendly but he got almost everything wrong. we ordered french fries, which were usually 70 Kč. there was also the option to get large fries with sauces which were around 200 Kč. in the end we would have had to pay 195 Kč, so just the drink plus the small fries.

when we got the bill we suddenly had to pay 315 Kč. the waiter said it was for the service, but the bill said that service isn’t included in the price. then he tried to gaslight us into thinking that we ordered the large fries. he obviously lied to us and said that he asked us beforehand but he didn’t.

we were annoyed so we just payed him. we gave him 500 Kč, so we would’ve gotten 185 Kč in change. i don’t know if he couldn’t count because he only gave us 45 Kč. we called him again and asked him to give us the money we deserve. after complaining he gave us a 100 Kč bill, but that was still not enough. in the end we lost around 150 Kč …

so be aware and always look at the bill again!! (they especially like to...

I don’t use the word “scams” lightly.

• Scam 1: No credit card under 500czk. Which woukd be fine it you were told before ordering. They have an ATM that charges a 4€ fee.

• Scam 2: Waiters will return incorrect change.

• Scam 3: If you order small drinks, french fries, etc., they might bring you bigger items. It’s so frequent that management must be encouraging this, or they are awful at running a restaurant. Maybe it is both?

•Scam 4: Waiters will charge more on the credit card machine than is presented on the bill. Remember, the number you pay is just the price of the menu items (tax is always already included). They sometimes lie about a service charge. They sometimes add their own tip.

It’s simple: this is a business that openly runs scams on its customers since there is no repeat business.

The reviews are clear: they are bullies who use emotional intimidation to fraudulently take money. They repeat these same scams over and over.

And the owner claims it’s a different restaurant. Which is another scam. It’s not. The receipts and same stories online...

During our Prague visit, we've stopped by Klub Lavka for lunch since they had a large outdoor seating area. View towards the famous Charles Bridge. Food was great, but staff are very friendly even though they were busy with all the outdoor seating guests. Stop by the restaurant for drinks and the lovely view of the river and Charles Bridge! I had a wonderful experience at Klub Lavka. Their vegan salad was excellent, and the service was efficient and attentive even though all the waiters were extremely busy. The highlight was definitely the fantastic view of the river that added to the ambiance. I also appreciated the diverse and incredibly friendly staff. A great place for both food and atmosphere! Staff was very hard working. 5 stars 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

Some waiters are nice, some are rude. View was nice. Prices were alright, drinks tasted fine. However, I got my food (Ribs with BBQ Sauce) and they poured balsamic oil over the salad, so I told the waiter I was allergic to it and asked if he could get me a new plate. Pretty sure they just wiped off the salad and threw on a new one because I still saw traces of the oil. They now also put a bowl of pesto on my meal, to which I am allergic as well. The waiter just stood there with an annoyed look on his face so I gave him the bowl with pesto back and ate around the areas which were cross contamined (so I ate 2 potatoes and half my meat). Don't put anything on the plate if you haven't put it on the menu!! Ruined my mood, this food that was only OK..

Klub Lávka has one of the most stunning outdoor settings in Prague! If you're lucky enough to sit near the Charles Bridge, you'll enjoy incredible views of the Charles Bridge Tower, the bridge itself, and the majestic Prague Castle, especially during sunset. The indoor area is also beautifully decorated, creating a great atmosphere. The food was delicious, and I appreciated that they offer an English menu. The service was good, but I did feel they were a bit pushy when it came to tipping. When they brought the receipt, I noticed they manually added a tip of 25% - 30%, which felt excessive. I would recommend this place for the views and food, but just be sure to double-check your bill at the end.
