This club is just a huge tourist trap!
Went there twice with friends. The first time we visited, despite the place being shady, was enjoyable to an extent. The second time (which was just two days later!) was a disaster.
• Normally, the entrance fee is 300 Kč (~€12), with no drink included. That's the sum we paid the first time we visited. The second time, the bouncers insisted on us paying 350 Kč, even though we had agreed to the normal sum prior to the visit.
• Apart from that, the bouncers were rude and actively search for a reason to use violence. They also seemed to tolerate drunk patrons harassing young women. Apart from that, if you happen to exit the building to get some fresh air, they'll make you pay another entrance fee.
• In the entrance, there's a sign that states 1) that the club's cash-only (extremely sketchy), and 2) Euro is an accepted currency. However, once you get in, they only accept Czech korunas. There are ATMs both inside and outside the club, however the conversion rates are straight-up criminal.
• The floor felt sticky and during our second visit, there was a weird smell, as if it was a public swimming pool.
• The music wasn't of great quality, but what was worse was the club's soundsystem, which honestly surprised me, as it seemed to be a big club. The club also claims to have 5 stories, each one having different genre of music playing; however, the first time we visited, only the first two were open. The second time, all of them were open but they were mostly empty (despite being a Saturday night).
To conclude, this club is a tourist-trap-money-laundering scheme at best, which you should avoid at all costs. Prague is a wonderful city and you should save your time and money by visiting some...
Read moreThe club is Big ... Fun place to be at ... highly recommended for Party animals. The experience was superb. The crowd in the club is generally good.... and energetic... Obviously it was dominated by younsters but it had varied age range so no one feels out of place for sure. There is a tunnel/pedestrian walk through, next to Charles Bridge, with stalls selling paintings ect. After going through this tunnel, turn immediately right and the entrance is on your right from there. There are 5 different floors in this nightclub, each floor dedicated to a different theme/genre of music The drinks are pretty cheap in here, especially the beer, for those who drink it! It does get quite hot in here though, so i would suggest either taking as little as possible or using the cloakroom by the door as you go in. The only downside, for me as a non smoker, in this club, is that there are no windows or ventilation, so it gets very smokey in here, which in all fairness you don't fully realize after a few drinks, till you smell your clothes in the morning!
Talking about the size it certainly is big as it has multiple floors but I am sure not the biggest... each floor plays its own music which really good as you can avoid monotony and indecent people if you want. Some people might find it clostrophobic, but most of the clubs are like that.
Note: Entry around 12 AM / 1 AM is advisable the real party starts after this time. Alcohol is cheaper inside so get drunk going inside rather then being drunk on...
Read moreOkay, I'm going to give the REAL lowdown on this club. I just got back from Prague, and I spent Fri, Sat, and Tues night at this club. I loved it so much that i felt ZERO need to visit any other club during my one week stay in Prague. People who will love this club: Gay and bisexual men Any straight, attention deprived woman Teenagers If you are a straight man looking to score with a woman, the odds are not in your favor. Other reviewers are not exaggerating on the male to female ratio. It is 6 to 1 on weekends, possibly worse. On weekends it is a sausage fest.. which I was okay with. Mostly ages 19-28. On weeknights it is packed full of teenagers by midnight, the crowd looked mostly 14-19. Of course with teenagers you're going to have kids running through the club and being childish… no biggie. There is a hot bartender who looks like Kevin Bacon :) All of the male bartenders are nice. There is one brunette bartender who really should just kill herself. Worst attitude EVER. The sound system and lighting is excellent. Be careful going up and down the stairs, there are no rails. Coat service is slow and under staffed on weekends. Late at night on weeknights, boys take their shirts off on the disco dance floor. It is really quite a show :) I am 34 and I loved this club and will be back when i return to Prague. P.S. I'd like to thank the big, tall, handsome employee who gave me a VERY special gift Tuesday night💦💪. I will never...
