Iâve been doing yoga and Pilates on the mat for 2 years consistently and decided to give the reformer a try in English because the previous tries in French in a different studio were a bit challenging bc as I didnât feel at ease with the machine.
I booked a class with Bailee and said it was my very first time ever to see how the coach manages the newbies (and the class was titled âNewbiesâ by the way). Unfortunately, there was zero focus on breathing. No explanation on Pilates breath and posture whatsoever which are the foundations. Like how can a beginner class be without these foundations? Almost non existent correction during the session. The coach was on the phone most of the time of the class. The end of the session was very rushed.
The studio itself is cute, the welcome is warm and friendly but unfortunately the overall experience isnât enticing...
