La Ferme Saint-Aubin — Local services in Paris

I am a cheeseaholic so of course on my 1st trip to Paris eating authentic French cheese was the 1st thing I did when I arrived. I was staying on Isle del la Cite and came across this wonderful little cremerie. I wanted to try everything and anything so I went in and asked them for guidance and suggestions. The man behind the counter was very helpful and had a lot of suggestions. He let me try them all. Delicious! You can choose how much or how little you want. I left very happy with a bag of delicious cheeses. Ever since then, La Ferme Saint-Aubin is my must-visit the 1st day I arrive in Paris.

I was told that they also will vacuum sealed cheese so that you can travel with it and bring it back home for your loved ones. I haven't tried doing this yet as every time I buy cheese from them, it's mostly gone before I even make it back...

Great little fromagerie (cheese) shop! They are so accommodating and kind! They’ll let you sample any cheeses you’d like. They also have GREAT pâtès, sausages, sandwiches...etc! If you’re traveling or aren’t quite ready to eat the items you’ve purchased, they’ll vacuum pack them for you, upon request. I make a point of stopping by here whenever I’m in Paris (fortunately, 3 times in the past 3 years! ;) I always end up purchasing more than I intend, but never regret it! Bought 2 bottles of wine and large portions of 3 types of DELICIOUS cheese for really no more than €50!! When in the store I asked the recommendations of other shoppers; some tourists who had walked through the he rain just to return to this fantastic shop; and a local who explained that this was his favourite fromagerie! The shop owner was so friendly and offered samples of cheese to anyone in the shop!!

I cannot speak highly enough of this small yet overwhelmingly friendly cheese shops with a great selection... And try the sheep...
