I booked several hours before going and when we arrived, we realized that the waiter had forgotten to prepare a table for us. There was no table available. Fortunately some customers were almost done at a table so we had to wait for them to leave and for the waiter to clean.
When it was time to order, we realized that couple of dishes on the menu were no longer available that night. I was a bit disappointed cause I really wanted to try the Qabuli Palaw which seems to be the most traditional. The waiter proposed to replace lamb by chicken but that wouldn’t have been an authentic one…
Despite those two inconveniences, we had a good time in the restaurant. What we finally ordered was super good. There is only one waiter who has to welcome customers, take their orders, bring them their foods, clear the tables, take people’s payments etc. That’s a lot for one person. We were not on a hurry so it was fine waiting… but it can be unpleasant at some point. For example we decide not to order desert there because we knew that we would have to wait for a long time.

Read moreBest service ever, me and my family went and they were about to close due to the low amount of rice they had. They still let us sit down and order kabobs and mantu, then one of the workers got some rice delivered and only made it for us. When they closed we were still allowed to sit down and eat and even stay longer to chat, a specific worker Angelo served us and he was completely friendly and sweet!! The atmosphere was completely clean and tradition Afghan based atmosphere, while the food was delicious!! the lamb melts in your mouth and the chicken is very tender. Not a single regret i have from visiting this restaurant and i definitely will be going back ! (Especially grateful for the fact that we stayed 2+ hours after there...
Read moreThe restaurant is well located. Decoration and mood are calm and soothing. The staff is lovely and kind, they won't hesitate to explain everything on the menu. So why the 3 stars? The food tastes good. However, we ordered the chef's recommandation : Quabli Palaw. Although it tasted good, the quantity of meat is so little. It's about 40g of meats and most of it is bones and tissues. It made the experience really unpleasant unfortunately. At this price point 25 euros, we can get a full lamb shank but it instead we got 2 tiny pieces of dry meat that didn't taste good. I would still recommend the restaurant for...
