Ralph Lauren Avenue Montaigne — Local services in Paris

Unfortunately, unless you are white and decked in designer they will treat you with the least amount of respect possible. This was my first time in Ralph Lauren, and because of the terrible and racist experience I faced I will never give my hard worked money to this company ever. When I walked in, they did not greet me or offer to help assist me to find what I was looking for. Eventually, they sent the only Black worker to help me, and instead of him helping me find an item to purchase he said how “this store is for luxury buyers”, I’m better off going to the “cheaper” polo Ralph Lauren, and how the clothes start off at 1000 euros, insinuating it was out of my price range. Insulted and disrespected is an understatement. And ironically, when I walked in all of the other customers who were white got greeted with smiles and offered help immediately… I took my money else-wear as you should too. Dolce and Gabbana, Ferragamo, and Givenchy on the same strip...

Rude and condescending. After looking at a few linen blazers in the mens section which I was considering, my wife and adult daughters were stopped at the stairs by a horrific sales person who blocked the stairs and asked what they were looking for. Refused to let them go look at womens clothing. Gave them a smart comment about what colors of clothing were upstairs and it was limited collections. I chose to not make a scene, but should have. Muy mala experiencia, fui con mis padres a visitar Paris y mi papá quería visitar sin falta la tienda ya que es un gran fan de la marca y muy buen comprador de la misma en nuestro país y en todos los lados que encuentre algo de su agrado, entramos a la tienda y él estaba muy emocionado y encantado con la decoración y todo el ambiente de la boutique que me pidió que le tomara una fotografía sentado en uno de los sillones, se la tomé y después él tomó un libro de la marca que estaba puesto sobre la mesa para hojearlo y mirarlo bien cuando de pronto llegó una vendedora muy mal encarada y nos dijo con muy mala educación que esto no era un museo y le quitó el libro a mi papá para volverlo a acomodar golpeándolo sobre la mesa como si le hubiera molestado que lo tomara mi papá, hay maneras de decir las cosas y su forma no fue la correcta, además de que nos miró el resto del tiempo como si fuéramos a robarnos algo y no paraba de burlarse con otro compañero suyo por el hecho de que mi papá estaba emocionado por ver la tienda y querer una foto adentro, al final decidimos irnos porque el ambiente se sentía demasiado tenso y yo estaba muy molesta por cómo trato a mi padre ya que él iba con la idea de comprar algo en la tienda antes de lo sucedido, definitivamente es una empleada racista y que no tiene nada de modales ni manera para atender a los clientes,...
