I read a lot of negative reviews about this hotel and decided to verify them, so I gave reception a very hard time and pushed all their buttons, but all the different 5-6 reception staff that we enteracted with were very professional and polite, not one of them spoke badly to me even though I went far to piss them off, but they handled it very well, we loved the most a lady by the name "SOFIA", she was the kindest and the best! We saw people at the hotel from many backgrounds, Arabs, Indian, African etc, all were happy staying here so am not sure why there is a review stating that the hotel is racist, this is not true. One review was complaining about the smell of Asian food in their room, our room was right on top of the Chinese restaurant linked to the hotel and on occasions when we kept the window open we did smell Asian food but that wasn't bad, it made us hungry, perhaps the restaurant can improve their ventilation and move it away from the main side if possible. The hotel is small, some reviews question if it deserves 5 stars, all we can say is that our room was truly 5 stars, the photos prove it, and given the location of the hotel and the professional and friendly staff I don't see why some want to downgrade it from 5 stars!!! "Rehab" from Guest Relations helped us to get around with the BigBus for site seeing, every staff member was super friendly even when I deliberately gave them a hard time! In terms of the reviews about steeling, we kept our belongings locked in the bags and the Safe so as not to tempt anyone and had no issues with steeling incidents. We trusted "Nadezhda" from housekeeping but she wasn't on duty every day so we played it safe and locked our valuables. In summary, I don't believe that the negative reviews about this hotel were fair, I don't know what some visitors expect but we had a fantastic experience here and loved Paris, the most beautiful city in the world! We will come back...

We had a very enjoyable stay in Paris at La Clef Champs-Elysees||-Great location, only a 5 minute walk to "George V" subway station and 10-15 minute walk two train lines. 5 Minutes to the Champs Elysses, Arch de Triumph a 10 minute walk and Eiffel tower maybe 15-20 minute walk. Plenty of diverse and interesting restaurants in the area and a Pret A Manger two blocks down the street.||-Booked an executive studio with small kitchen. Very well appointed. We really did not cook but it was nice to be able to store beverages, make a coffee and some snacks. Up to date decor, in very good condition and very clean. Large bathroom with plenty of storage space, large walk in shower and a separate area for toilet.||-Some confusion with the prepayment for the room not reaching the hotel form our travel provider Air Transat. All was resolved between Air Transat and the hotel back office without our having to be overly involved. Macki at the front desk managed this very well and assured us that he were sure it would be resolved before our departure, 10 days later, and made us feel welcome by showing us to our room and pointing out it's features. To apologize for the mix up about the prepayment the hotel sent us a big beautiful bouquet of flowers and a bottle of champagne.||Only opportunity for improvement in our opinion would be the pillows. They were all very hard so perhaps a mixture of pillows some feather some synthetic or a pillow menu could enhance the stay.||||We had a...

We stayed 9 nights and changed 2 rooms. First, I need to say that the people at reception are not adequate for a 5 star hotel! Now allow me to describe the beds. The beds are on wheels! Meaning that everytime the person next to you, or even yourself, move around, the entire bed wobbles! And you can’t phantom what does it mean for a person with motion-sickness!! We asked for a softer pillow because the one they have is too firm giving us a headache, they said Sorry we don’t have! I would like to mention here that there is no miscommunication whatsoever cuz both sides speak the same language.

Now let me tell you about the breakfast. It was so bad that we asked for our money back! Breakfast is till 10:30am and we were there by 9:50am and everything was already finished and cold! The irony is where we asked for a cappuccino and the lady said: The machine doesn’t work! OK! We asked for croissant and she said: it’s too late for breakfast we don’t have any!!😳 I found a hug tear on our bedsheet!!! And i found a burnt tear on the curtain!!

I mean you pay almost $500 a night for what?? To sleep on torn bedsheets? To have a uncomfortable bed? To have a cold breakfast? To sleep on stiff pillow and get headaches? Yes they have a good location and yes it’s pretty, but 5 star?? I don’t think so! Every year we visit one of the Champs-Élysées 5 star hotels. But this one failed...

had high expectations for my stay at [Hotel Name], but unfortunately, my experience was disappointing due to poor service and unprofessional behavior. I had booked a specific room type, yet upon arrival, I was given a completely different one without any clear explanation. When I raised the issue, the receptionist, Kilian, was extremely rude and dismissive. Additionally, I encountered a problem with the bathroom, and instead of assisting me professionally, the same receptionist made an inappropriate and discriminatory remark, implying that I wasn’t familiar with how to use the facilities because I come from the Arab world. This was not only offensive but completely unacceptable. Hotels should be welcoming and respectful to all guests, regardless of their background. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and addresses the issue to ensure no other guests face similar treatment.
