I have been to many designer storefronts across the globe. My wife and I were in a rush early in the morning and did not have time to dress formally. I understand we are in Europe and the average person dresses different when comparing to casual dressing back home in the US. I walked in with a TShirt and Jeans, not my normal wardrobe, looking to pick up a bag and possibly some clothing. We were met by a doorman who appeared friendly, and dressed very well. My wife wanted to look for sweater so after looking at bags we headed up to the second floor. The doorman was breathing down our neck, not even two feet behind us the whole time, making my wife feel very uncomfortable. We found a couple of things for her that she was excited about and considering, but before we picked them out to try on and check out we kept noticing the doorman steps away watching our every move. For the first time in our life we felt profiled based on what we were wearing. We love to purchase bags clothes etc. from high end stores like Gucci, Louis, Moncler and have always had a great experience, and when visiting their stores today they treated us incredibly well. In your store however, dressed in rushed casual, we felt like we were suspected to be shoplifters when we couldn’t even imagine breaking the law, especially in a foreign country on vacation. I understand the assets in the store each go for hundreds if not thousands per piece, but judging without anything to go off of and expecting the worst can push out potential new customers. The store was well kept and all the merchandise was exciting to view, but this store lost a sale today because of this misplaced judgement. I don’t want to be out of line because who knows maybe there has been many thefts lately and they had to ramp up security. I don’t know the full story, I just know how this experience felt and it scared us off. As I stated above, the other stores near by like Prada and Moncler displayed a wonderful environment, but I’m not looking to tear a respected brand down, I choose to criticize for improvement because we all need that in our lives. I’m sure the quality and service is there, but from a first time impression standing point, it was a negative experience. This isn’t meant to hurt an employee who may have had good intentions, this is meant to hopefully help the employer revaluate the way they set expectations for...
Read moreWith eager anticipation, I acquired a pair of shoes from Dior in Florence to grace my wedding day. Sadly, this excitement dissolved into profound disappointment as the shoes unraveled within a mere 2 hours of wear.
The store's initial response only compounded my exasperation. In my quest for reparation or compensation for the €1000 shoes, their outright refusal disheartened me. Their justification that the matter had to be referred to Paris was further exacerbated by the inconvenient timing of August, when the Paris office is closed. This left me helpless, denied any form of reimbursement for shoes that succumbed so quickly, failing to withstand even a single occasion.
Following an extensive dialogue that seemingly involved the entire store staff, a breakthrough emerged. They opted to bypass Paris and, suddenly capable of unilateral decision-making, agreed to reimburse me via bank transfer. A stark contrast emerged when one manager forthrightly expressed her indifference, suggesting she couldn't fathom the shoe's intended use. It was evident that they struggled to acknowledge the glaring quality issue plaguing their product line.
This encounter has rendered me disillusioned and preyed upon. Dior, a brand renowned for luxury and artisanship, fell woefully short of my expectations. Allocating a substantial sum for shoes that disintegrated within hours is entirely unsatisfactory. The episode has prompted me to question the integrity and values Dior purportedly upholds. I am compelled to caution potential buyers against embarking on a similar...
Read moreI purchased an item from this place and was very disappointed with the service. We were “helped” by an Asian worker and were not treated very nicely. He was very impatient and didn’t seem knowledgeable in the products. I had to repeatedly ask if the items he was showing me were the only designs that he had, to which he responded yes, but before I purchased he found other designs. This would have been very unfortunate if I had already purchased the item and wasn’t able to get the one I liked the most. He was also extremely off putting to my friend and seemed as if he did not want to help us. Additionally, everyone in the store were given refreshments except for us and seemed to be treated very kindly, and we are unsure if it was because we were young or if there was...
