Enomis — Restaurant in Palermo

AVOID THIS “RESTAURANT”. If I could give zero stars I would.

The only good thing about the food was the presentation - it was tasteless, bland & frankly horrific.

All the food was received at different times, with the last dish arriving an hour and a half after the others, and this wasn’t even taken off the bill! The steak was thin, chewy and bland. The chips were awful too - both dishes were barely touched. The clam pasta were dripping in oil, and was far too salty. The waiter was nice and polite when we first raised our concerns, but then the owner and chef came and spoke to us, shouting abuse and insisting we paid full price, including the service fee of €10 euros despite waiting a ridiculous amount of time for the food.

I cannot believe how we were treated by the staff, it was disgusting & put all the well-run Italian restaurants to shame!

Please save your money and go...

I've been here a few times in the evening, today for lunch. Thankfully, I got spaghetti pomodoro, even though it's not on the menu, and classic bruschetta (also not on the menu). There are no spices like fresh pepper. There is also no Sicilian olive oil on the table. No parmesan cheese with the pasta. Paper napkin instead of cloth napkins. The water comes in a plastic bottle (unfortunately not uncommon in Palermo, but still not healthy).

After I still had half of the water in the plastic bottle and in the drinking glass, I had to vacate the table: the table was supposedly now reserved. But now COPERTO ❓️‼️ If I had to make a ranking of the most unfriendly restaurants, Palermo would be right at the top. (But there are also positive exceptions, thank goodness).

We went there for dinner and were very disappointed. I asked for a glass of wine but i could only order a bottle. So me and my boyfriend ordered a bottle - 1 had one glass and he drank the rest. A couple came after us and she ordered a glass of wine and was able to get it. Even if the waiter told us that we only could get a bottle. The food was ok but nothing special. I ordered Tiramisu for dessert and it tasted not even close like Tiramisu and was not even selfmade - vanilla pudding with cocoa powder! Some guests next to us who came in later had bread as a starter even if they didn't order it. We've gotten nothing only the maindish. Not to recommend at all. We were very...
