I visited this place based on the positive reviews in the morning, hoping to have a nice breakfast experience. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to our expectations. While the prices were reasonable as mentioned, we found that none of the items offered had anything special to offer.

We ordered a slice of Pistachio cake and a pastry, but apart from that, our experience was not satisfactory. I asked the waiter if they could make an iced Americano, and they said they could. However, when they brought it to me, it turned out to be an Americano with milk, which was not what I had asked for. Even after explaining the situation, they only brought me ice, leaving me disappointed.

Caffetteria del Corso is located on Via Vittorio Emanuele, which is one of the most lively areas of the old city but given the location, the value for money is great!

I had a coffee granita with sweet whipped cream and a brioche bun and I can say that this combination had been one of the best food experiences during my whole trip to Palermo!

The granita itself was refreshing and had a rich coffee aroma. No artificial flavours were used. The thick whipped cream blended in exceptionally well as it provided a "reserved" sweetness and a soft mouthfeel.
