I knew that I wanted to have a kimono photoshoot experience while in Kyoto, but didnt plan anything. So I booked my kimono rental and photographer very last minute. Fortunately, my bookings were approved almost immediately which gave me some relief. Not to mention, the process was so easy up on arriving to the store. The staff was extremely nice and welcoming. They took their time with dressing me in the kimono and made sure that I was styled to perfection. I have no complaints, and I’m simply grateful that a last minute decision worked out so smoothly. It was an awesome experience the people were very friendly and had great recommendations for Kimonos / Yutaka as well as some great general recommendations for travellers like places to take pictures, visit, eat, etc. the staff easy to communicate with (in English specifically), very respectful, kind and helpful. The selection was pretty good and the quality was fantastic they also had props, bags and sandals as well to complete the look.
