OLIVESPA PANTHEON 心斎橋店 — Local services in Osaka

First time trying a legitimate massage in Japan. Their service, cleanliness, friendly yet hard-working staff and professionalism made for a perfect experience! Visted OliveSpa Pantheon on the 12th or 13th December 2024.

I was traveling solo and needed a relaxing massage after weeks of long-distance walking and workouts in Japan and needed a fix for my aches and soreness before heading back to my home country. I found this place, which was conveniently located near my hotel according to Google Maps. Honestly, though, the street looked a bit sketchy at night, which made me nervous. To add to that, the staff were incredibly friendly (nothing wrong with that, just my own personal trauma) and the language barrier only increased my anxiety that I might have walked into the wrong type of massage. However, there was an English pamphlet that clearly stated they do not provide any "special services" and that rude behaviour or comments would not be tolerated, which was a huge relief.

I’d like to give a special mention to Yogo Sakura, who was assigned to me, a nervous and shy customer and my bad if my own nervousness made you feel tense during our interaction. This was a wonderful experience. I went here with my daughter while vacationing. We had the 60 minute back massage and 30 minute facial. The facial was a massage not an esthetician type of facial. Both were wonderful. Everything was done with cleanliness, including showers offered before and after the massage, shoes off in the room, robes provided, and so on.
